Though I doubt they do £1 a pint day anymore like when I was at uni in the early 2010s
At Loughborough there's hardly anything around here so they try and rinse us, thankfully me and my mates found a good local which has £3.50 pints of moretti so that'll do me in the current climate

    • I remember searching out the Samuel Smiths pubs in the late 90's that did 90p a pint, or £1.20 for the stronger Pils. Crazy that £3.50 a pint is now cheap. Now I sound old!

Good luck on the Sierra Leone bet

These are all up on 365 now, they've basically copied morning line prices on all bar idiomatic, reckon I'll just bet on the day as I doubt they'll shorten much

They must be running scared on these, I put first mission in a little double with Port Joulain tomorrow and so did a friend, all it took was £10 to contract to 5/4 from 7/4.

          • Candied needs 1 more scratch into the Oaks field, 25/1 looks huge, if she does get in

                  • Breeders cup distaff and sprint markets up on bet365, 7/1 Idiomatic I have taken. Torpedo Anna 12/1 is also decent.

                    • Also got Raging Torrent priced up for the sprint, they've given me 25/1. MONSTER 104 beyer at Churchill and I think he may head to the woody stephens next, typical paths for winners of this head to the sprint so might interest a few here.

Would love to take that price Zach and Idiomatic but 365 is no good to me, so will have to wait for other markets to form

Would this be a recommended bet at this point or one to watch?

I know nothing about any racing outside of the UK so keep scanning these threads just to see if there's any nuggets, but would be betting completely blind if I did so just want to confirm whether you guys would actually back him now or just keep an eye on him

One to watch for me and see how he does in his next start as it was a career best by about 20 lengths lto but he'll be running on the Belmont stakes undercard so won't be too long until we see him again

I tend to book build for the key BC races, so for me the price is a no brainer, especially with a cash out option but at this stage it has to be considered speculative, as he will need to back up his last performance… if he does he’ll be a big shortener but if not, probably wouldn’t make the race.
For context, I’d compare him to a once raced novice hurdler, outside of the big yards, who put in a big performance at the start of the season.

Thank you both. Will decide whether to have a speculative small punt over next few days but will definitely watch this thread with interest as the season develops. Hopefully the price will hold reasonably well if he runs well on Belmont Stakes day and it's time to pull the trigger
