Hello Fat Jockeys,

  • Wouldn't put anyone off having a few quid EW on Noche Magica for the Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot.

His run at the Curragh this weekend was full of promise and he possesses an abundance of raw speed, he just didn't quite see out the 6 tiring in the last 50yds and just being collared.

Thought he looked every inch a Norfolk horse on that showing and I'm a sucker for a Paddy Twomey horse, 16/1 with PP/BF is a standout price and he will be a fraction of that come race day behind what looks an exceptional horse in Elite Status.

I have backed him @ 33/1 with 365, but see that's been clipped into 20's last night, however there are still 25's available.

Really liked his debut performance and form in behind not horrendous. Bred to get further too.
14/1 now after the weekend performance, putting up an RPR of 111, on just his second start.

Can't wait for him to step up in trip too.

He gets entered in the queen's vase that'd be interesting

I can see why, with Eldar Eldarov going that route last season, but I wouldn't be surprised if he went the Masked Marvel route (also trained by Gosden), in going for the Bahrain Trophy at Newmarket in July.

Is Elite Status just the one horse to put in to all summer bets? Or roll ups for Cheltenham etc? I do love a long term bet with a few different things thrown in.

I'm not at all clued up on the flat - but watched that race last week and he was hugely impressive.

Didn't think I'd target a 2yo race for that myself

As good as he looks 2yo races are just very unpredictable

                Anything could improve a heap

Another possible race she might run in but not guaranteed.

                        • Very impressed with Ace Impact today… form looks rock solid and does not look ground dependent… I’ve backed for the Arc

I got Gregory entered into some bookies books, a few weeks back after his debut (which screamed Leger to me).

33s was fair value, back then, and 25s before he won his end race.

                              14s still very good

Starting to show up as being Gozzers best chance to progress to that race, and.I am hoping to see him in the 6-Day decs for the Queens Vase.

Perfuse (Stoute) looked interesting on Friday evening (question on sire getting a Leger winner?)

The other one, Ive got added along most of the line for the Leger is Chesspiece (Crisford)

Stayed On well behind Military Honour on seasonal debut, before a slick run from the back to the front to win a 1M4F York Hcap from topweight of 96.

He's another one I'd like to back at Royal Ascot, maybe in the 1M4F 3yo Hcap.

Gregory has a 111 RPR after 2 runs
Chesspiece has 106 after 3 runs

Chesspiece remains 40s and 33s for Donny, so his Ascot plans are important to note.

Richard Gibson is looking forward to a European relocation before deciding on his next career move, but first he is heading to Royal Ascot with a serious chance of enhancing his Group 1 record.
