Agree. Impeded 2 horses who both might have beaten the 2nd and improved their place so the 'winner' should have been thrown out and placed 4th no question. Brave Nation wouldn't have win though. He didn't get out unfortunately and that's where he ultimately lost the race.

I'd say he actually impeded 4 horses

And cost the 3rd and 4th any chance of second

If I was their connections I'd be very angry at missing out on that prize money and 0 penalty being given to the wayward horse

Maybe he was the best horse on the day but that doesn't matter if he has sideswiped half the field
