Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • Epsom Oaks/Derby meeting 2022

    My fancies for the next few days;

The Oaks - Thoughts of June

    --

    The Dash - Sunday Sovereign
The Derby - Star of India

I always like having a bet in the dash but not really interested in any of the other races on the cards this year outside the big two.

May sound boring but I'd love to see both Emily Uphohn and Desert Crown win in impressive fashion. Always fantastic when the Classic winners are above average.
Also liked to see Pyledriver win again for connections as they've resisted huge amounts of money for him over the last few years and deserve to be rewarded for their loyalty/love for him.

I'd be extremely dissapointed if pyledriver doesn't win the coronation Cup

Has by absolutely miles the best form and was very unlucky not to win the sheema classic last time

I don't get manobo at this stage, all of his form looks very average to me (cue him sluicing in)

Emily Upjohn for the oaks, but I'd like Tuesday to win for betting purposes and Stone Age for the Derby for me

Don't understand why've they dropped Manobo back to 1m 4f, he just looks a gold cup horse to me, gelded too so may as well go for the big pots

He pulled like a lunatic last time

That must be why he's been dropped in trip

Royal Champion looked very much like a group horse in a handicap there

Absolute shocker of a ride from Frankie that

                    Brutal

The missed break was unlucky but why on earth dis he not start asking her for an effort earlier

                        Always enjoy your wins

                        Well done on the winner

I'm sure you've backed enough unlucky losers to deserve a lucky winner

Every reason to feel smug if you had her at big prices. That's the name of the game. Actually think that she has not been given the credit she deserves for her win. Tuesday got away slowly as well and was only 2 lengths ahead of Emily Uphohn at the start so there wasn't much in it. The overhead camera shot looked for all the world that EU would reel Tuesday in but she stayed on tenaciously. I expect them to meet again and wouldn't be surprised to see the placings confirmed.
