    Double Today

    Both horses from the Mark Usher yard

    Nottingham 4:20 - Born to Please 10/1 (skybet) ... 1st

    Won last year off around 4lb lower than today's mark but she does have the softer ground and looks a good ew bet as does

    Kempton 4:45 - Liberty Bay 20/1 (skybet) ... 4th

    Liberty Bay has shown some good ability in her first 3 runs getting pipped on the line last time out. Today she's drawn much better for her first go in a handicap and the mark she's on looks workable.

    Double pays 230/1 with skybet
    place double pays 10.92/1 with skybet(4 places for the 4:20 race)

    5:45 Klopp 5/1 (Skybet paying 4 places).. 7th

    Back to form when winning at Wolves and a previous C&D winner. Expecting another good run this evening and enters the ew calculations at his current price

    6:15 Don't Tell Claire 17/2 (Skybet paying 4 places)...10th

    Another C&D winner at Newcastle and is bang in form. Won't be far away and looks overpriced in this field.

    Double pays 56/1
    Place double(First 4 in both) pays 3.03/1

    I should add I do also back both as singles but as I didn't state that in my previous message I will put myself at

      6:00pm Fivehundredmiles 15/2 (paying 4 places) .... 6th

      David Evans horse travels to Wolves in good form and should go well from a decent draw with Kieron Shoemark on board. He’s also had a 4/1 and 50/1 place today.

      7:30pm Bayston Hill 10/1...6th

      Mark Ushers horse is in fine form and looks overpriced to run another good race. Up in the handicap, although he has won off these marks. Would expect him to run well again

      double with Skybet 92.5/1
      double with Skybet to place 6.13/1

      all 1 pt including singles

          4:05 Kempton - Aratus 11/8 (Skybet) ... 1st (3 1/2 lengths for bet below)

          Run second to Oo De Lally (125/1) at Newbury on debut, by 3/4 of a length, when both went a couple of lengths away from the field. Oo De Lally has since come to Kempton and run all over a good field by 3 lengths going away. If this form works out Aratus should beat a few expensive purchases to take this run.

          5:05 Kempton - Lucander 2/1(Skybet)... 3rd 13/8

          Frankie's only ride at Kempton for a stable that he's not retained with, which is good enough for me to suggest they are expecting this to run close. Going up in trip after finishing 8th LTO although Lucander was hammered 2f out and may run better over this new trip. Frankie has a 25% strike rate at Kempton from 20 rides & 20% place record.

          3pt - Double at 6.12/1(Skybet)
          1pt - Both to win by 2 or more lengths 37.5/1 (Skybet)

              6:15 Country Charm 12/1 (Skybet) paying 2 places... 3rd (lost my a nose)

              dropping back a furlong from LTO will help and looks a big price at 12/1 (9/2 to place)

              8:15 Phantsmal 6/1 (Skybet) - paying 5 places not BPG...5th

              Was the best horse in the race over 7f last race before coming short of room. This horse may not appreciate the drop in furlong but if it travels the same today won be far away.

                Lingfield - 2:00 Little Brown Trout 9/2 (Skbet - paying 4 places no BPG)... 3rd

                Been in good form on the turf recently and was a C&D winner off 3lb higher last year. With Ellie Mackenzie taking off 5lb id expect Little Brown Trout to come late to take the prize

                Nottingham - 4:10 Born to Please 6/1 (Skybet - Paying 5 places no BPG)...5th

                Mark Usher's yard are in good form and Born to Please is a horse I expected to be there or thereabouts today. Over the same C&D as winning a week ago, going is the same but will have to overcome the 5lb penalty for last weeks 2 length win (going away) and upped in class

                Double - 37.5/1 (1pt)
                Placed Double - 1.71/1 (3pts) Won 8.13

                No Singles today

                -22pts (Now -13.87)
