  • Kinross will now be primed for another crack at next month's G1 Prix de la Foret, a race in which he finished fourth last year. “He got a bit far back in it last year, but we'll look forward to it,” trainer Ralph Beckett added. “As Frankie said, we know each other now and I'd imagine we'll go straight there, After that we'll see.”

it's the only 7f group 1 so was always going to be a big target for him

I'm not sure kyprios wants very soft ground so the cadran must be unlikely, search for a song and Falcon Eight certainly preferred decent ground

    • Hoping that Baaeed heads to Longchamp, I've taken some of the 8/1 on Adayar for the Champion Stakes as the best horse left in the race.

      • Sounds like Vadeni won't be going to the Arc, as they don't think he'll stay.

        • Neither will Baaeed. Ending career at Ascot in Champion Stakes

          • Arc looking a bit crap this year like. In fact that whole Longchamp meeting is a little underwhelming this year atm.

            • Could they divert adayar from the champion stakes to the arc as baaeed is now going there? I took a risk on him for the champion stakes banking on baaeed going to the arc at 12s before his tune up run and that hasnt materialised, 18s look very big for the arc considering that it doesnt look the strongest fields

              • Ran in the arc last year didn't he. And godolphin haven't got much else for it. Assume they think he didn't like the heavy ground last year though? Probably wanted to get a lead for longer as well!

CA said Arc or Champion stakes. I read that as "the one Baaeed doesn't go to"

                  • With regards to the Arc, I feel like I'm going to wait until nearer the time to see what the ground is like.

I won't be going near Luxembourg at his price, but if it comes up 'Good' or 'Good-Soft' I'll likely back Alpinista, anything worse than that and I'll be backing Torquator Tasso to follow up last seasons win.

I saw a quote in the R.P , today re Adayar. , Trainer said he had a hard season last year , not been so busy this time round ??.

                      • Aye, they seem keen enough. I've taken some 16s.

Agree with CoD on TT for the repeat if it turns out heavy though. Would rather wait for the day to cover him though.

Invested my cashed out rollover into Sakheer at 14/1 (BF/PP).

Roger Varian: “He has size and scope, he’s very exciting and I think he’ll stay seven furlongs or a mile.”

                            • Sakheer was very impressive

Looked a very fast horse, really sprinted away from them

                              • Sound like Kyprios is going for the Cadran. Hard to knock now isn't he but I don't think he wants it too soft. Not ideal for the assumption he would run though.

16s Adayar long gone for the Arc. At least got a good price on that one, providing he shows up!
