  • imo Native Trail is being overlooked, if it wasnt for him getting the worst draw in the guinea's he'd still be unbeaten

      Iv never bought that personally

Coroebus just showed the better turn of foot

They were both drawn on a wing and the field came down the middle of the track

Both Real world and Stone Age not running now

      • Alenquer is the bet for me in the Coral-Eclipse.

I backed for 3 places before final declarations, so I am feeling happy about this.

For me the recent form lines point to him as a solid bet. On a line through State Of Rest he has Bay Bridge covered, and that one is a 4/1 poke. I have doubts about Native Trail (first time out over the trip, couldn't back on this basis, at the price he is), Bay Bridge (as noted the form line, but also just seems to get going too late for me, think he'll be due a step up in trip at some point, maybe after this race), & Lord North (already covered on form).

Vadeni could, of course, be anything, although I'm not sure he beat the best Prix du Jockey Club field in history, and I'd like to see him do it again. I'm happy to let him win at the price he currently is.

Mishriff is interesting, he needs a serious bounce back to form, but he technically has Alenquer more than covered, based on their meet at York last August, IF he can bounce back. I've had a small E/W saver on him as well.

        • Buick jocked up on Victory Dance for the Superlative Stakes this Saturday. Appleby has won this with some good ones. Little stab to get onside for the 2000 guineas.

          • "We don't know where he's going and we'll wait until the last minute," he said on Monday. "We would prefer to go to Newmarket as the July Cup is a bit more prestigious, but there's the alternative of the Prix Jean Prat on Sunday.

"He's working tomorrow and we're leaving it all to Richard as he gets it right. It depends on the rain and how much water they're going to put on at Newmarket. He really wants easier ground, which he'll probably get in Deauville."

perfect power sounding like a very unlikely runner in the July Cup

Have backed creative force at 5/1 with a saver on naval crown at 6/1

Stayed on well. Looks like Buick looked after him also. Will need to improve and step up required.

365 go 66's after that where as Sky go 25's. I thought it was an okay debut, should learn a lot.

A very taking debit imo… clearly well short of fitness but would have still won costly if not being ‘educated’… Beresford next?

Promising debut there, something to work with. Took advantage of the 66/1 HTR it didn't last for long though.

Hopefully he can go on and emulate the impressive German Derby winner SAMMARCO who also started his career with a second.

You'd think he'd be running in a maiden again next then if he wins into graded races
