    Good shout that

    Coroebus was very dissapointing

Hills are a standout 3/1 on Vadeni to win the irish champion stakes so took that

Don't think baaeed or mishriff will run so can see him shortening

Also sounds like Luxembourg will run next Saturday in the Royal whip so be good to see him
Vadeni now 2/1 best price and generally 6/4-7/4

seems the bookies cottoned on to baaeed and mishriff being unlikely to take part

I took the 3s after you flagged it… also backed Luxembourg ech-way… what did you make of him yesterday? …on the face of it still plenty to find but I liked the way he toughed it out.

He kind of fell in didn't he

Will need to come on for the run a huge amount

            Which he may well do

                • I'm wondering what people's opinions here are on Baaeed in the Juddmonte. I'll win a sizeable sum on Sky specials if he wins, but the more media previews that I see the more are taking him on with Mishriff or one of the others. I think it's just to make controversial media stories for clicks and the step up to 1m 2f won't be an issue, but I'll still be interested in the opinions here.

                  • Don't keep up with he flag as much as some on here seem to but... Aye, I think and hope he'll win. He looks to be bred to get further than a mile and seems to settle well enough in his races. Don't really see any reason he wouldn't but there's always a slight question of course.

Can see why people were tipping Mishriff each way if there were 3 places on offer though. As surely he'll be the one, if Baaeed didn't perform for whatever reason.

No bet for me mind. Might have a go in the Ebor on Saturday but will wait. Although Echoes In Rain

                      I backed mishriff ages ago

Baaeed is of course the likeliest winner nobody would dispute that

happy to let him win at such a short price though up in trip against much better horses than real world and chindit. Mishriff will have his ideal conditions and if he runs like he did last year will be as tough a test as Palace pier was for him if not tougher

I should've backed him e/w 3 places in hindsight at 4/1 as that is surely the smart place in this race

You'll get much better 4/9 shots than baaeed imo wouldn't be surprised if he drifted

                      Will baaeed win?

Probably yes but not a betting proposition at all for me at the prices

I'd have baaeed 4/6-4/5 and mishriff 11/4-3/1 not 4s myself

I think he's the flat equivalent of Honeysuckle. Not flashy but always gets the job done. He'll only do enough and beat what's put in front of him. Super horse .

                        • Really like the look of Aikhal for the Great Voltigeur tomorrow (currently 7/2), and potentially going forward for the Arc (although has other entries, like the St. Leger, so could go that route), of which he's a 40/1 poke with Bet365 currently.

I think the step up in trip again will help him massively, as it seemed to do LTO, where he won a Group 3 at the Curragh by 4 1/2, his best work most definitely happening in the final furlong, and the way he was ridden from the front in his maidens suggests they believe he has stamina.

                          • Apparently only 1 horse in the last 20 years has won the juddmonte having never raced over further than a mile

And that was frankel the greatest horse of all time

That applies some context to what baaeed is facing tomorrow

I hope mishriff runs his race as we will find out just how good baaeed is, this season hes been beating some very average horses for the grade

I expect marked improvement from Baaeed for the step up in trip. Infact, I think he's been crying out for it. Yes, he's unbeaten over 1m, but his breeding suggests he'll get plenty further, and I believe this step up in trip will be right up his street.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if he beats the lot tomorrow further than he's been beating horses over 1m, and then cue all the 'he's a monster', 'best we've seen' talk appear....again. I'd still have Frankel to beat him over 1m, easily.

Quite an open race, I like Aikhal but a few question marks still. Probably a no bet for me but if I did it would be on Deauville Legend.
