9/2 with PP, boosted to 5/1 - think I'll take that instead and hope 365 follow suit and take the 'without' price later/tomorrow at hopefully bigger than 2/1
I must have the read of this race wrong - however:

    10/3 in the without market
7/2 win (cover bet 3 places)
    6/5 to place
    and 4/1 (5 pl) at 1/5

I'm backing all 4 of them, to add to the 5/1 I took last night.

I'm just convinced he'll be involved at the business end of the race - he finds for pressure so I'll be gutted if he isn't close to winning.

Had a decent Wednesday and Thursday, yesterday was write off!! Try and finish with a high...

1:50 Beringer 12/1 - think forum will be happy if this lands

      2:25 A Star Above 10/1

      3:00 One Master 15/8

      3:40 Verdana Blue 10/1
      Trushan 9/1
Alright Sunshine 22/1 (poor form having 3 darts at it but it is what it is)

4:20 Acklam Express 3/1 - missed price on it, but most likely winner in my eyes

      4:40 No selection

5:10 Meraas waiting on a price!

I've found the bet I like the most....

9/4 Safe Voyage without One Master or San Donato. (PP)

I think Safe Voyage is a solid bet to 'place' anyway at least, so this has to be the best option....

Perhaps the ground is too fast for him.... I really did expect him to be a lot shorter

Going to have One Master in a trixie with Favourite Moon and Acklam Express as well though, as he's just poked 2/1

2.2 for 3 places and I also like the 1.7 ish 4 places.
I think there’s still some juice in the track and it’s rain now so ground can’t be quicker than good to soft places all day.
Very flat too York so doesn’t drain despite the unseasonal gales...

                        • At last, a decent return at the Ebor meeting - Coltrane bolted up.

I always check out all Andrew Balding’s handicappers at the Ebor meeting, and fortunately went for Coltrane this week.

He didn’t have many this year, (a couple of losers earlier in the week) and Coltrane was the only one that appealed.

He’s got four long shots left, today, Ranch Hand & Shailene in the Ebor, the York specialist Pivoine in the 10F race 6, and Never Dark ridden by an apprentice only having their 6th race in the last.

I’ve got San Donato in the next.

Then in the Ebor: Fujairah Prince and Alright Sunshine.

Got back into profit now, on the meeting, so the heat is off.

That's why I've had to back Ranch Hand. He'll really like the rain and the ground appears to be proper hard work from the first few races. But so will the likes of Trueshan and Monica Sheriff. I'm not going to back more horses as already have 4 but if I did, it would be Monica Sheriff.

                              • Thanks mate, decent ride - took advantage of there being no front runner, ground looks to have gone in his favour by the off and as anticipate/hoped he did find for pressure.
