He’s a freak. No excuses. She’s ran well but beaten by a superstar. Made the right decision to have a saver on him in case he was a proper superstar. And he is.

What a terrible day. In losing 15 points, today has been the worst monetary loss that I have ever had. Not even a placed horse as nearly all my bets are EW. Lets hope the week get better! My bets tomorrow.

          1.45 - Sacred W 9/4
          2.45 - Sir Busker EW 7/1
          2.45 - Montatham EW 8/1
          3.45 - Gold Wand EW 6/1
          4.20 - Mayaas EW 4/1

Backed Sir Busker and One Voice both ew tomorrow (singles and a double)

Noticed scooby has tipped them up too so hoping he has a bit of a turnaround in form!

I will Love it if you're both wrong with One Voice.

Fujaira Prince wins the big one Saturday I think. Definitely a group horse in a handicap. Albeit a good handicap. Would love to see my lad Art Power win a group 1. Will be cheering him on but beating Battaash will be tough. Here’s another wild one for you all.. Frankly Darling in the Yorkshire Oaks at 10/1 each way (2 places). Have a gut feeling she’s miles better than that Epsom run. Agree with the post above that Sacred will win later in the week.

No big bets really on Day 1 although I’ve had a decent play on Magical with saver on Ghaiyatth (7/4 boosted with Skybet fwiw - only £20 maximum stake though).

                Day 1 bets:
                1:45 – Came From The Dark @ 20/1 E/W (6 places)
                - Aracibo @ 7/1 E/W (6 places)

                2:15 – Royal Scimitar @ 5/1 E/W
                - Praise of Shadows @ 11/1 E/W

                2:45 – Darain @ 7/2

                3:15 – Magical @ 4/1
                - Saver on Ghaiyatth @ 7/4

                3:45 – Here And Now @ 12/1 E/W (5 places)

                4:20 – Lady In France @ 10/1 E/W (4 places)

                4:50 – Pure Dreamer @ 11/2 E/W (4 places)

                Good luck all
Lady In France saves the day at 12/1 SP

                Roll on tomorrow..

Makawee came from a near impossible position today and may well have got up had there been another furlong in the race, but she ran a very creditable face, so with a related link back to Franconia I think that qualifies as another form boost.
Love is clearly a freak of her generation but Franconia is too talented, and her form backs it up, to be 8/1 tomorrow.
Two and three places looks a max play for me...

She was a class apart in the Oaks and looked incredible indeed for all that the oaks form hasn't exactly worked well upto now.

There may only be One Voice happy tomorrow if I am right

That was a really solid performance.
3lb penalty, stalking from the back and easily picking them up.

Nothing he beat there will be bettering him at Donny.
I'm guessing most won't bother going.

Love is clearly the one to beat but, quite Frankly Darling, I think the Gosden filly will be much better than the Epsom run and is worth a bet at 12/1. Keep the faith!

Another great day's racing to look forward to. My strongest fancies are Sir Busker and Mayaas.

I just can't see Sir Busker unplaced(top 6). He won't mind the rain, the trainer thinks he's in the best form he's had him all season which is not a bad thing considering what he has already achieved. He shouldn't have traffic problems at a course like York and I can just see him powering away with a sustained run from 2 out(I hope).

I just thought Mayaas was an EW bet to almost nothing when he was at 4s yesterday. This step up to 7f looks as if it will really suit and I think he is better than his current mark of 83. LTO, he ran against the first and second favourites in the Gp2 Gimcrack tomorrow(albeit their first runs of the season). However, the second in that race came nowhere yesterday which does create abit of doubt hence the EW bet.

Hopefully mom. If she can find that Ascot form again she might just do a Pyledriver. Keeping the faith.
