Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • Cabaleta isn't a bad price in a three runner race.
Pilaster won this race for the same connections and Cabaleta's last run was encouraging from an attitude point of view which may help in a race where they may be racing from a long way out.
Her win last time was impressive in respect of the effort she put in.

She was 6/1 last night when it was a 4 runner race, so you are right compared to 12 hours ago at least.

I read the longer trip will suit too.

      1 point on

      • In my quest to tip a 100/1 winner on here, in the 16:40 at Goodwood, Glowing For Gold has a Derby entry. The only other horse in the lineup that does is the 13/8 fav, Titan.

The breeder still owns the horse so it's probably more a selling point than an indicator of his ability, but we'll see!

Cieren Fallon on board too, which is a positive on any horse in my opinion.

          • Gone for terentum as hills just gone 100-1, so boosted to 117-1.
Gets away well most days and is drawn near some pace, on the supposed good side.
might hold on for a place at least.
11lb swing i think with Meraas and was slowly away that day.

Oof, you can let him win at the price he is can't you?

I like Kimifive, your selection. Also Swindler but not backed either yet...

                    I've backed all 0.5 pts e/w

                    Mr Lupton 50/1 (6pl)
                    Brian The Snail 66/1 (7pl)
                    Teruntum Star 117/1 (7pl)

Cabaletta (6/1) and Glowing For Gold (100/1) the only others I've backed at Goodwood today.

Likely to finish down for the week from Goodwood, had a decent Galway though so the weeks still been decent enough.

Been quite a poor quality meeting in my opinion, didn't grab my attention like it usually does. Same with Galway too!

                    • King's Advice is 4 lbs lower than winning the same race 12 months ago... in the 14:25

Looks completely out of form but I'm going to have a little go based on the above, if he's been aimed anywhere, it'd be here?

I do also recall a stat about when Mark Johnston has more than 1 in a race, the record of his shortest price is very, very strong. (Relative to someone like AOB etc)

                      • Ive had a go on lexington dash, ran really well at newmarket hands and heels job then comes 4th next time out but im possibly puttin that down to soft ground so i think hes better on a drier surface, will hill pays 7 places so im happy with him each way

                            • With MDV out, Enhibaar is 4/9. Since my multiple was antepost, I obviously get the price so I’ve laid off a bit at 1.56 on the machine. Cheer her home lads! Fingers crossed.

Swindler each way in the Stewarde Cup at 12/1 E/W (7 places) looks a good price so he’s my bet in that minefield of a race.

I'm lucky to be in the same position as you with an EW Treble antepost treble on Mohaather, One Master and Enbihaar. Always best to not be greedy and get some profit in so I'll be laying too.
