If we look at the positives SC, he's wide and out of trouble. One of his main threats, Bodenheimer is also only a few gates down. I would've been far more worried about the ground than the draw. It's also great news that Kieren Fallon is out there with him and let's hope we see that big WW smile Friday night.

just out of interest did anyone else lump on this in anyway shape or form, although I think I could be wrong about the predicted 6/4 on the off, probably be a shade of odds on I would have thought now...!

I have him in doubles, trebles and 4 ways with Noor, Campanelle, Jackie's Warrior and Thoughtfully. Also, for next year with Pretty Gorgeous, Santa Barbara ( Thanks SW ) and Campanelle. No lumping just small stuff

Certainly a strange turn events. He is still up for sale at the Keeneland sales on Monday and if they do decide to sell him they would have done a great marketing job with all the hype.

Bear in mind although I have put in some effort I am pretty much a once a year US punter and these bets are very small. That's not to say I wouldn't like the odd winner. Assuming middle draws are favourable then the draw wasn't particularly kind last night.

            • I did various combination doubles with Tarnawa Mogul & Magical. With Mogul in the turf and the other two in both races. At big prices.
And they are all running in the fucking Turf.
              Hope they all lose now.

                • I had what was for me a sizeable ante post bet on golden pal for the juvenile turf sprint a month or two ago

So no surprise to see him drawn in 14 ffs

                  also have a trixie on

                  Campanelle juv fillies turf
                  Tiz the law classic
                  Tarnawa turf

plus a bet from months ago on siskin for the mile in which my confidence has since plummeted

I was planning on adding cayenne pepper to my bets but her being drawn 14 of 14 has very much put me off

Yep I might bailout of my Cayenne Pepper doubles, or bring in something else better drawn at the meeting to replace her, maybe New Mandate.

Im just hoping Golden Pal is too good for the draw, and gets round okay.

I am going to find a map of the 5&1/2F Keeneland Turf Course to see how drastic the draw is over that trip.

irs ultra-tight, but from a wide draw, if fast enough it looks possible to get over before the turn kicks in, as the back straight run is longer than the finishing straight on the course!

I hammered the 11/2 Tarnawa for The Fillies race and had a dart at 11/2 Magical so I'm two down as well, need Ceyenne for the bailout.

He absolutely bolted out the gates in the skidmore so fingers crossed he can get into a good position despite the draw

Christ it is going to be like watching a greyhound race, preying he bolts out then gets across and then preying like hell he doesn’t run out of gas in the last furlong due to over exertion in the early part of the race....really can’t wait
