Going to be deep ground in Ireland this weekend. Had loads of rain and Loads more forecast. Expect some odd results !!
Some great horse racing around the world this weekend Lobos but with all the soft ground around happy to just watch and enjoy most of them tbh...I might go searching for some good ground though

One who will like the soft is Power Under Me in the 1.15 Curragh. He's high enough in the handicap but I think this has been the plan and I'm surprised his price is only now shortening. Still 9s with B365. I would have him as Fav and have backed him with a decent stake.
3Apr22 Cork (6Gd, RPR 115)
That's as quick as Power Under Me wants it - he grows another leg when there is juice in it. Colin (Keane) said he is after getting very strong over the winter and has matured big time. One day, if all the conditions went in his favour, there is a big pot in him. He'll be entered for all the big sprints later in the year, the Haydock Sprint Cup and British Champions Sprint Stakes at Ascot over six furlongs could be options and the softer the better for him - Shane Lyons, assistant trainer.
I also really like Significantly in the Portland Handicap at Doncaster(2.10). It was too early last time out to see how he would have finished if he hadn't have been badly hampered but his mark has now dropped to the same as when he won at Royal Ascot last year and 5.5f on softish ground are ideal so I'm hoping for a big run. At 33s, he's worth an interest and you can also go to 10 places for 20s if you have an account with 365 which I think is great value.
Ayr Gold Cup. I think the horses have been aimed at the race and will hopefully run well. Good that they are drawn on each side too.
15.40 - Vadream / Chiefofchiefs
Silver Cup. Gone for the 3 Tim Easterby horses Snash, Hyperfocus and Ava Go Joe. Would choose Ava if I had to pick one as think this has been the aim imo.
Going with Summerghand as a small each way with the extra places. Probably be one or two better handicapped but usually gives his running. Big field sprint and being held up thrills as well
Well , the Roger Varian L.31 is going rather well so far , missed the 14-1 shot at Ayr though !! .
edit , got Aimeric in the 5-20 at Ayr , unless i cash out before. ??.
Piked out and cashed out !! . too good to take the risk . re backed Aimeric as a small single ..
Pay for some cheltenham bets this week. .

Brilliant, well done! A real old favourite of mine. Just a pity I haven't been with him on his wins this season!

Congratulations Benjy , . I did a few including Commanche falls just before the off.
Thanks both. Aye YH, he's a really likable type isn't he, think he's an old favourite for many. Must be great to own one like him. Prefer to see proper handicappers win the handicaps rather than the real unexposed types as well
Good stuff with the Varian bets BC, he's had some day yesterday!
Yes,, Summerghand is a horse i have never got right !!! . followed him over a cliff and then stopped backing him .
Hence , he's been winning a few since then .
I thought that last weekend might be the last for any meaningful flat bet's .
But saturday rolls around again and i'm going again in the bigger races today.
My main fancy for the Cambridgeshire is Jimi Hendrix . - nicely Drawn !!.
Anyway , got a few multi's as per usual , best one ....... maybe???.............
