Inspiral wins easily and will go shorter in the 1000 guineas market.
from 10/1 into 6/1
Took a while to pull up also so up in trip shouldn't be a problemLast edited by HoldenTheReins; 9 September 2021, 02:51 PM.

I know Ruby Walsh used to comment on it all the time as a good sign. Moreso about having plenty in the tank which isn't exactly the same thing, but it's an interesting angle nonetheless.

Based of Frankel's progeny they do seem to be more on the staying side also.

I've been waiting for Magical Spirit to run in this race since his good third at Ascot last month. He's a few lb higher than when winning the race last season but he won that race so comfortably.
I took the 10/1 on Thursday evening and he's understandably strong in the market - I think there's a chance he goes off favourite.
Bielsa has turned into a cliff horse for me but I'm giving him one more go today. Ostillio looks very well handicapped on the best of his form. Backed both of them, 1pt ew at 16s
2pt ew Magical Spirit 10/1 6 places.
1.25pt ew double Magical Spirit 10/1, Ostillio 16/1
2.75pt Yankee: Magical Spirit 15/2
Hala Hala Athmani 4/1
Bielsa 10/1
Dhabab 11/4

3-y-os have done well this season so in the Doonside Cup (Ayr 1.55) I fancy Juan de Montalban (2nd in Italian Derby then maybe ran over too far LTO) and The Flying Ginger who won well LTO though is up in grade.
edit: both faded in the closing stages - return to form by MaydannyLast edited by Supermaster; 18 September 2021, 02:13 PM.
