Just came second to the new antepost favourite and will therefore be 5lb better off at the weights with him. Uncle Bryn had the run of the race for sure, and Walhaan looked to be staying on nicely.
Ran in the race last year (drawn low in 1) and won his race on the far side off a mark of 91 (now rated 87)
Looks like this race is the plan, looking at the season so far.

Negative is, he may not get in (although 87 should put him near the bottom in some/most years)

Gosden has a full sister to cracksman called hopefully darling but has only managed to get her to the track once

I sided with highfield princess 2nd to space blues over just beautifuls good run in the red hot Falmouth

Their form is a good way clear of the rest

Now declared and almost certainly won’t run unless ground is suitable
Trueshan at 4-1 looks very big.
if they get the rain , especially the thunder storms and it actually goes soft or at least good to soft
this surely is not his true odds.

Probably get money back due to NR
but the price is wrong if he runs

Money back as expected.
Odds did come in to 2-1 and Strad evens which I believe would have been more like the right prices had the ground been middle for both.
This change in odds though was more than likely mainly down to the bookies adjusting for rule 4.
And punters like me gambling on the weather, and favouring Trueshan of the 2 on good to soft or worse.
Just one more thunder storm was needed and about 8mm.

Yup, Frantastic eased into racing. Gosdens' other one, Israr, looked more developed when they were side by side. Good odds too.
