And I'll probably back Dalton, as the trip and pace should suit this horse, just waiting on prices with that one.

    In the better races.
i like one rulers form, his win was excellent and the form of the doncaster race is solid enough.
I've backed that at 4's with ladbrokes and had a double with Thunder road too.

If I had to summerise this daily flat racing thread over the summer, it'd be reading tips for Arecibo and Quevega snaffling value before I even know a horse is running.

Both happen at least once a week

Cheers FM. I also had the second and 6th so a very good race for me! Today's handicap bets are:

      York
      14.35 - Crystal Pegasus
      15.10 - Magical Spirit/Bielsa
      16.55 - La Trinindad

      Newmarket
      15.35 - Not So Sleepy/Diocletian/Lynwood Gold

I really like Magical Spirit and think a repeat of his Ayr Silver Cup performance will be good enough to win this, even with his 10lb rise. I'm a fan of Kevin Ryan sprinters so giving Bielsa one last chance as he was drawn on the wrong side LTO.
The Ces looks tough as always and it's one of the few big handicap that I seem to struggle with. However, I do think Not So Sleepy has a great chance. He did well to place 4th in this last year considering he pulled hard and ran too free. I was encouraged by his performance LTO where he didn't pull too hard so if he can do the same today, he'll be close.

      • I struggle to see Not So Sleepy out of the places in the Cesarewitch. He'll race prominently and seems to have improved since he finished 4th in the race last year. Needs to break well and have a good position by the time they hit the bend.

        1pt ew 9/1

I was looking at him as I backed at Pontefract the last time.
But I put myself off him, with the recent run and his record fresh and that. Overthought it, a bit, and was 14's when I was really interested.
Might still put him in one of my bets today.
          It ought to suit.

            added Jukebox at 20's.

Cromwell's runners all interested me for some reason. even though they all might just be having a weekend away.

              • Bit of a sucker for Ian Williams in a big field handicap.

Can't ignore his two runners at 80/1 Reshoun and 100/1 Blue Laureate

0.5 pts e/w on each this morning.

                    • bit concerned the high drawn on the straight at newmarket will be favoured, after that first race.
which makes chindit drift to 4's look odd.

Well, nil point for style but 10/10 for staying on all fours and getting home safely, good lad.

                          • The 12-1 Royal Illusion opening show for the Irish Ces did look big.
Wish I'd not ignored the shark, when it was 9's Friday though, the double would have been nice now.
Had saver on Willies other horse today too.

A Case of You @ the Curragh 2-10 been heavily backed from 25's last night also. A horse I've followed since he won a barrier trial.

I like allaadel's chances at Goodwood
Backed Internal Transfer for the Limerick National, missed prices but 12's ok value still I think.

Obviously chucked in on its hurdle mark but expected to see him around 12f on the flat. Seemed to fade over this trip last time.
