  • I thought First Winter was the winner of the 3.30
I think his two runs so far have been in better races than the favourite’s. From his first race, (he was 2nd) the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th have all won races since.
Prince imperial will have to have improved to give the penalty away. The biggest danger could be Thumur, who had a torrid time on debut last year but still managed 3rd place, he has an absence to overcome.
Charlie Appleby is firing in winners at present. This gelded son of Dubawi can improve for a slight step up in trip.

    4/1 when writing. Good luck

    • Took the early price of 12/1 on Babbo's Boy for the Old Newton Cup.

He really impressed when winning over 1m 2f at Haydock earlier this month. I'm not sure if it was the change stables, gelding operation or first time blinkers that made the difference but he picked up really nicely and won easily. Raised 7lb for that win, I can see him going in again so have taken the stand out price.

      1pt ew 12/1 Babbo's Boy

This was in my 34 3yo's to look out for but I am still wondering what is going on. This is David ' they will come on for a run' Simcock isn't it?

The 16/1 was worth an each-way nibble but 9/4 you have to be joking.
Mess of a race from a punters perspective this evening, bookies ranging from 140-155% overrounds be interesting tomorrow when they are circa 120% late morning who gets pushed back out her or Tom Collins. Yes she does look on a lenient mark but agree that price seems crazy.

        • Art Power has an entry for a 5 furlong group three on sunday at sandown and a 6Furlong at naas on saturday, I am thinking he will head to sandown but when will final decs be released on this?

About 10am two days before each race.

I see Andy Holding has put up Matthew Flinders for 2 points, and HT Thumur for 1 point so it's a combination tricast the 3 of them for me

Nice spot Priceiskey. Managed to get 6 on the machine and 4/1 last night, now 3.6 and 5/2, let's go Sheila.

                  Well done Anay!

My 4 were a shambles. 1 a NR and Penny Out just not finding as much as i expected.
                  Arctic Sofia went backwards.
Marmolata drifted badly and for a stable that punts, that was bad news. She actually was in the process of running a big race up the rail before being completely blocked off. Watching out for her next time!

No bets today, tomorrow two irish cards at least. The fillies race at Leop already priced up looks a belter but tricky!

Skybet have it priced up Art Power 9/4, Lazuli 3/1

Mine were probably worse Jack. Though I think strawberry morn needed the run in hindsight and is probably well handicapped. Onwards and upwards

I certainly wouldn’t consider my tipping to rival those two...

                        • Doncaster 1:30 Double Up 6/1 E/W - Had a small go on this one today. Moved to Ian Williams when rated 103, now running off just 70, has absolutely tumbled down the weights but on best form would hammer this lot. 9 year old now, so a chance taken that some ability still remains. This will be the lowest rated field he has faced for some time, and expect him to go well.

                          • Doncaster 2:00 The Cruising Lord 25/1 (28/1 boosted with 4 places available) - Another who has been tried quite highly since his novice days, running some solid races in Group 3 & Listed company. It's likely they are trying to work that mark down for 5f handicap, but taken a chance at a big price over the 6f today in easier company than he has been competing against. Owners last 4 runners have been winners, here's hoping this one is number 5!

Horrible start. Must have given away 5-6 lengths
