Potential bet for tomorrow outside of Ascot for me is:
Wuqood 3.45 Leop- debut made him look a potential group horse in waiting. Went close in a g3 at 2, form of that has some boosts and some negatives.
Back out in the Ballysax held up, hit 2.98 in running, before his run petered out. Hasn't been seen since, presumably had a setback. Weird time to bring a horse back out given we are literally finished for the year. Probably wanting to see the horse still retains ability? Therefore i'd say he'll be ready to run very well with a view to next year.
Similar thing happened with his half bro Rakan and he well in 4th before being kept on at 4.
Weld's past form in this race reads 14212411 Granted some have had higher market expectations than the opening 12/1 with Hills suggests Wuqood has.
Weld also has last year's winner in this Amma Grace, who i liked but she's gone out of form. Also worth nothng that 8/10 last winners have been 3yo.
Waiting to see what the other books open him at as he's probably not going to be a massive market mover fast (if at all)

Radiyka is one my tracker chucked out for the first race at leopardstown tomorrow
Finished third last time but got almost knocked over at a key stage, losing several lengths. Absolutely flew home after, making ground hand over fist in the final furlong.
Colin keane is on, up to a mile, first time visor applied
Hopefully because her profile reads 223 she'll be a decent price

Taking a chance in the 4.40 on the Howard trained Edge Of My Seat given the colours, it could end up 110 on the exchange before the off, but there's some money around which is interesting.
Trainer is 20 runners, 4 winners 4 seconds 1 third and 2 fourths at Navan on the flat. So you can't crab that. Lordan is 2-2 when riding for Howard.
Horse itself is taking a big step up in trip, not surprising from her runs, she's looked in need of it. Pedigree also gives confidence that it will suit her.
For all she's been well beaten every start, her debut formwise, has worked out quite alright for her to be running off 52 now. Also her run at Roscommon.
Worth a go anyway in an open race.

Luxembourg could be special but O'Brien's form has been shocking lately. I'm really hoping Imperial Fighter can hold up Coroebus' form and think that he can. Being by The Gurkha, he will appreciate today's softer ground better than others and today would have been his target with lto being a prep imo as Balding targets this race having 2 winners from 3 runners in the last 7 years. 10/1 is a good EW price IMO.I will also back without the favourite.

In the two Newbury group 3s (Horris Hill, St Simon) the two favourites: Noble Truth, Siskany look strong contenders
For a higher price there is Dubai Poet and Ilaraab
I like Royal Patronage in the big Doncaster 2-y-o 1m Gp 1 Luxemburg was very impressive as was Sissoko at a higher price (as was Mc Tigue!)
edit: Looks like for Noble Truth and Royal Patronage it was one race too far for them. Gutsy Ilaraab thrives on soft ground. Luxembourg looked very good and Sissoko was pretty good.Last edited by Supermaster; 23 October 2021, 03:24 PM.
