I'm going against Princess Zoe today in the 2.50 at Longchamp. I think Valia should be clear favourite. She has some very good form with Wonderful Tonight who is a very good horse, ran well in the Prix Vermeille when short of room turning for home on not ideal ground, gets weight for being a 3yo and more importantly imo, she didn't have a very hard race at all on Arc weekend whereas Zoe did.

Final big Flat handicap on Saturday is the November Handicap at Donny and I've gone for Kingbrook. He hasn't had a hard season as only had his first run late August and all of his runs have been in good handicaps and he won a really competitive handicap last time out when upped in trip and on soft ground. I'm hoping the 6lb rise won't stop him as he could still be improving. I'm taking the risk by betting now as I want the price but his price shouldn't contract too much as Sam Cooke the likely favourite will be popular(laid out for this, stable in form) but I don't think he is as good as Kingbrook.
I also really like Euchen Glen as he's in the form of his life at the moment but I feel this could be just one race too many especially after his recent race on atrocious ground so probably won't back him.
Another is Raymond Tusk who is 20s at the moment and already Jocked up. He was my Ebor fancy and it was really annoying that there was no communication from Hannon after stating the Ebor was his aim at the start of the season. Anyway, I will probably end up backing him when he is declared but it's just at the back of my mind that they are looking for his mark to drop further with next season's Ebor in mind.

Was trying to be greedy by cashing out at 100% on one bet and then couldn't get back on again!! For a tiny moment I thought he was going to actually win! Kingbrook was terribly disappointing when looking to be travelling well but at least I'm p on the day with some shorter price winners. Breeder Cup to go....and I'm being told by the wife and kids I have to do a bonfire and fireworks
