Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

            • Etonian looked like another bargain (£10K) turned into a Group 1 horse after an eye catching run from the back in a slow-run race.

Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere & the Dewhurst mentioned by connections post race.

The trainer would probably have one each in those races, with Chindit also looking very decent, with his Ascot Listed race win being franked beautifully with the second and third winning well on Friday (in a Listed race and the Convivial Maiden respectively).

Update: Owner says Etonian will go straight to the Dewhurst.

                    • Aurora Eclipse 5.45 Bellewstown. 33/1 paddy power 4 places

Now down to a mark of 65 (dropping into a 44-65 for the first time) after running some very good races off marks in the 80s. She seems to have a liking for soft and heavy ground. She’s ran most of her best races in the blinkers (on again). The trainer has only had two winners in the last 5 flat seasons in Ireland which certainly doesn’t inspire but one of them was last week which probably means he’s in hot form.
A lot of horses don’t look like they’ll handle the conditions here so going to have an ew bet in the hope that she’s dropped far enough to show up well.
I’ve absolutely convinced myself this is a good bet. I might be going mad.

Beaten 3/4 length by the now 112-rated Make A Challenge, when getting 9lbs last August, makes him rated about 101, not 65.

I reckon it was less than 65 seconds from reading the first post, to backing this horse and finishing this post.

Nice work chaps. A good shout regardless of the result IMO.

                            • I’ve done this trainer a bit of a disservice. He’s relatively new to training but this season he’s had 22 runners, 2 winners and 3 of them placing. Sorry Kevin Thomas Coleman.
