I’ve had a good look at the 1.50 at Newcastle and think everything is in Mubakker’s favour. It will be difficult for a horse like major jumbo to make all, horses tend to win up here by picking off the front runners. Brando should be streets ahead of these but he’s never ran on an artificial surface. Mubakker looks like a huge improver, trainer in form, he’s won over course and distance and his sire (speightstown) has a good record with offspring on the all weather.
5/2
If Glen Sheil runs a big race in the 13:15 (race before) that'll frank the form too. (for Mubakker)
I might have a little each way double on them actually
Jon Snow in the same race... with Keane aboard.
W J Lee on Sharjah...
Colin Keane has been on Sharjah before...?
Yes Jon Snow to me looks like he wants some juice in the ground and a bit one paced. I like Billy Lee as a jockey. Riding well at present. I agree with Q about ebor. That race could really suit.
One of Newcastle’s biggest days has attracted possibly its worst maiden since racing resumed. Going to have a couple of bets on London, possibly without the Fav and place only bets I’d say as the favourite will win I reckon. London ran in better races last year than any of these have, running quite green and being outpaced on the first occasion, she stuck to the task quite well in the end although beaten a long way. Second start at Newmarket, she was asked to go on and simply couldn’t go the pace for long enough, weakening right out of it. The danger is, she’s going up to Newcastle to get handicapped but some of these look so poor, I think she might get in the shake up with the step up in trip to suit.
80/1
100/1 place is much better than a slap in the face!

Yeah, I’m pleased with that. I’d actually managed to get 50/1 without the favourite too so It’s disappointing that she couldn’t hold 2nd but I mainly played the place markets so I’ve turned a decent profit

very good.
I'm sure you made more with that than people who backed the winner.
Given he stays pretty well over obstacles i'd say he did well to win over 1m2 and his last run really proved he would enjoy a step up in trip on the flat i think.
I'll see how they price him up, but he's interesting to me anyway. I'd expect a reasonable price, but oddschecker's tissue (normally an awful guide) say 6/1?!
She was outclassed on her final start last year but certainly not disgraced behind some nice types.
Shane Foley takes the ride and I think he’ll have had the pick. She’s likely to come on for her disappointing return now she’s upped to 6F.
I think she’ll handle any rain that falls and I think she’s worth a go at big odds. Stable operating at a healthy strike rate too.
