Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Not in my opinion. I don't think it can ever be a bad Derby if you have the 2000 Guineas winner lining up. Then there's English King. I haven't backed him but I am so so looking forward to seeing him run after his mightily impressive win at Lingfield where he broke the course record on a day when no other race was run faster than standard. English King could be a seriously good horse. You then have the Royal Ascot winners which this year would be classed as the Derby trials on top of the usual Aiden O'Brien batallion which includes placed horses in the Irish 2000 Guineas who should improve for the step up in trip. I'm so looking forward to this weekend!

It will be surprising if Ocean Atlantique isn't the number one. A drop of rain would help his chances of upsetting the favourite and reversing the form with Pao Alto. I wouldn't look beyond those three.

Have to say I'm very surprised there is still 50/1 available on amhran na bfiann given the form of the maiden he finished fourth in, with the Irish derby 2nd, 3rd and 4th between only half a length and 3.25l ahead of him. Its very interesting that he is the one from those four that they are choosing to send over for the English version, and he started at a much higher price in that maiden than his three stablemates, which maybe means they had left more to work on with him than the others. I might be wrong but I'm also pretty sure I heard he cost well over a million euros?

Can never rule out any of Aidens. We’ve seen it time and time again winning with his so called 4th string.

This is interesting to read as someone who had simply backed him out of patriotic duty

Backed Serpentine 25/1 E/W & Russian Emperor 13/2 E/W now, so 3 backed in the race now, avoiding the front two in the market.

SportingLife just tweeted 'English King drawn one in Saturday's Investec Derby - 1999 the last time that draw was overcome in the Epsom Classic'.

Not a great draw for Mogul either.

It'll be interesting to see jockey arrangements for Coolmore

Absolutely gutted with the 2 box for Mogul! Painful for English King backers as well.

Sorry, I haven't looked into draw bias for the Derby, what's the general consensus with regards to this?

Middle is with you want to be. Wouldn’t want to be higher than 11 either.
