    • Like Bell Rock for Hunt Cup as already mentioned by SW. Also last years winner AFAAK runs again. He’s 3 pound higher this year but C Fallon is taking off 3. He won the race on soft last year running a career best so you could argue he’s slightly better on that type of ground but his second and third best efforts were both on good to firm which he has won on twice. Coming here after a lay-off should not be a problem either as he won this off a 9 month break last year.

      • My annual reminder that Hugh Taylor puts his tips online the evening before each day and the price tends to hold for a few mins as opposed to a few seconds like most days (not sure if that will be different this year if less liquidity in the market). He'll tweet a few mins before they go online.

Have been nicely up bacing him blindly the last 3 Royal Ascots so something to consider for the novices like myself, although not sure the lack of prior form could have an impact this year. He's already put up Born With Pride in the Ribblesdale Stakes 15/2 this morning

Fred’s are all opening and my shop is same hours as before.

I will probably be doing the same RC, not great at the flat so will be coming on here and trying to get on HT selections quick as I'm sure price won't last long! So Reading everyone's view on here with great interest, keep up the good work everyone

From what I can gather it was because of the going, so unless that changes I don't think it will be seen, personally.

                  • Does anybody know why On Guard is 14/1 with Lads/Coral/SportingBet but a general 5/1 elsewhere?

No idea Kev, but a good spot, worth a very small bet in hope they've just screwed up. Can boost to 15/1 also. Haven't seen any news to suggest won't be going

                      • Coeur de Lion @ 14/1 EW 6 places in the Ascot Stakes make some appeal (certainly one for the EW acca's).

Bit of a cliff horse but he's been consistent in this when 6th in 2018 (11/2) and 5th in 2019 (7/1).

He was unlucky last year, hampered at the start and met trouble in running but still ran respectfully and was only 4L back in 2018. I expect him to be fit as he's run twice this season which cant be said for most. With 6 places I expect him to hit the frame.

Yes no idea either. Either a big cock up or they have the heads up it’s not running. Thought it was strange Donohoe jocked up but see he won on it last time out.

Ran a nice race at Haydock lto and the step back to 7f will help. Lightly raced so should be open to plenty of improvement, gets in at the bottom of the weights and Kingscote (who I like) booked to ride.

Surprised he's 20/1 and with 6 places available I couldn't resist. Also gone in some small multiples with Bless Him and Land of Oz.
When do we find out if reserves get in etc....?

Land Of Oz is one I noted today too FM, here's hoping!

I was half tempted too with the 6 places available but I can't help but feel it's a wasted win part of the bet. I see the visor is replacing cheekpieces, perhaps that'll give the extra edge that the horse needs. I think I'd want 20s+ though if i was to get involved.
