Battash looks a shadow of his former self currently. Golden Pal still 7/2 for the Nunthorpe still.

What do we think of the winner SUESA, he was a red hot favorite before somewhat of a flop at ascot (it was a bit of a bog) . Juts won that impressively and looks a little tasty on better ground. Golden Pal fan myself so interesting/worrying to see a new co-fav? When ward officially confirms hes targeting this race do we think his price will shorten as I feel like its still not official hes actually going here? Twitter dont appear to have cottoned on anyway....

He has confirmed the target in the video clip of my last post (earlier this week) although not yet picked up by the UK racing media is part of the reason GP’s price is holding along with the winner winning well of course

Someone posted a link a page back in this thread saying Ward is targeting this race for Golden Pal. Not sure if that has changed. Suesa doesn't have any quick ground form but trainer said they'd be better on it. Won well today.

Yes I think this page is ahead of the UK media as RC mentions. I just wonder weather that 7/2 PP and Betfair will last much longer when ward makes an official statement to UK media... SUESA looked good and but on speed figures it looks unlikely she will have the pace to catch Golden Pal at york 5f if the ground is good and if it isn't i suspect our ante post bets would be down the swany anyway!? . If she did go would she carry any sort of penalty for winning this race today?

The Nunthorpe is a group 1 7barrows so no penalties

I did read on another forum the owner had suggested suesa wont come here but haven't seen anything to confirm that is definitely the case

You would have to think The Maurice De Gheest would come under consideration for Suesa.

I doubt they'd run her again just a week and a bit after running today

Golden Pal was back working yesterday with a 4F breeze on the soft at Arlington.

Campanelle put in a 5F breeze at Arlington.

Not sure of the plans for Twilight Gleaming but she was also there and did a 4F breeze.

I wonder if due to him now being owned by coolmoore that Ryan Moore will be taking the ride on golden pal

I would be happier if Irad was onboard.

I agree and I think he'll ride it (Covid allowing)

                                Dettori with the leg up

Wesley Ward reports star sprinter Golden Pal to be firing on all cylinders ahead of an intended tilt at the Nunthorpe Stakes at York.
