Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

Hi all, thinking of heading to Longchamp this year. Has anyone ever been, is the ‘winning post enclosure’ for €65 worth it over the ‘Arc Gardens’ ones for €20? What’s the main difference between the 2?

Very very good run from tarnawa there

Race wouldnt have suited at all

Slowly run 10f against the guineas winner and eclipse winner

Very happy with that as a trial for this and the breeders cup turf

I agree though this year's Arc field could be exceptionally strong.
St Mark's Basilica seems more like a horse who would do well in the Breeder's Cup turf or classic
Good run by Poetic Flare who could aim for further 10f races on this evidence

Such a shame Wonderful Tonight suffered a career ending injury, I think given soft ground she could have gone very close.

Anyone else think it’s madness for Hurricane Lane’s connection to be considering this ?

It's not madness as long as he isn't knackered from running in the St Leger but he may well have had something taken out of him. I recall Camelot running no sort of race in the Arc after he should have won the St L.

I honestly thought after HL won the group 1 in France, the arc was his no 1 target and was surprised to see a couple of weeks ago that they'd confirmed he would run in the St Leger. Obviously he went and won it so you can't knock it. It looks like a massive vote of confidence from Godolphin for Adayar.

My own personal opinion is Hurricane Lane is the better of the two, but Adayar has won the bigger races. Just have a feeling it might be a race too far for the hurricane.

6 runs and been on the go since April, so presumably has been in race/fast work for 7/8 months.
A soft ground Arc might just be a race too far for the season, I could easily be wrong of course…

                    For me it depends

If they intend on racing him at 4 he should be put away

If hes going to the breeding sheds may as well go for it

Especially with adayar having a set back and snowfall losing

                      What's the setback with Adayar?

He was supposed to run today but had a setback so they are going straight to the arc

Chrono Genesis has landed. She had her last work at home yesterday before the flight to France today. She will now be based at Chantilly until the Arc.
