    Tarnawa 10/1 (betfair boost)

There seems to be very few genuinely top class middle distance horses at the moment and one of them in Love is ground dependent and will always be doubtful to take her place come the Autumn in Paris.

Tarnawa improved hand over fist in 2020 topping off a great season by dominating the breeders cup turf showing a serious turn of foot

For me she is the one they all have to beat and is the perfect starting point for ante post purposes

I know a good judge who agrees with you FF. He's been backing her since the BC.

I like Contrail but not sure if this race is the plan.

Her main threats will likely come from the classic generation youd think

be interesting how good the 3yos look

Dermot weld confirms tarnawa will have an autumn based campaign again

Hopefully being a fresher horse taking on horses who have had long hard seasons will play to her advantage

Excellent news FF91. Theres so much to like about this horse with a view the arc. I just watched all her wins last year back and she's absolute phwoar!

She kept going off a backable price too despite sluicing in every race

Only problem is the run style if its a big field

could be a heartbreaker ala Sea Of Class who wouldve surely won with less no hopers to pass in the straight

I dont think tarnawa needs to be ridden quite as cold as her though tbf

Know nothing about the flat really but watching atr the other week and a horse Philomene for Godolphin won very nicely in a Group 3.

3 year old so will get the weights allowances for this, anyone know much more? 33/1 available with PP.

Yeh took 1pt 33/1. As FF91 says, trained by the right man, beautifully bred and finished 1m2f LTO powerfully against some fairly useful rivals. Lots of guesswork but the visual impression was phwoar and she looked hard to pull up.

Thanks both, I’ll maybe dip into the antepost flat market

Get the feeling AOB thinks Santa Barbara is a monster and we know class 3yo Fillies with all their allowances have a great record in the Arc. She's currently 25/1 prior to tomorrow's race.

                              SIBILA SPAIN e/w 50/1 b365

This exciting filly Impressed on debut with a 9l victory then followed that up with another easy win. Supplemented for a crack at a G1 today at Longchamp, she couldn't have had a worse trip if she tried but somehow still managed to finish in 4th, only 1l behind.

Obviously she's way off the finished article but I think she has the raw ability and the time to improve for the Arc in October, she relishes the soft ground too.

Edit: Okay, I cashed out before her last race as it looks like they're heading to the Prix de L'Opera BUT I did take a smidge of 80/1 (shocking after timing) just in case she had a stormer and they decide to supplement her for the Arc.
