We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.
I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Great feeling when one that you’ve backed is travelling well at the back, then you see the other jockeys elbows start to pump away and your horse and jockey starts moving through them.
I knew my day wasn't going to be lucky after Kyprios was withdrawn having been backed from 16s to 4s! Two losing days but 3 more days of great racing. Who knows how much rain the course will get but here are my day 3 bets:

Main bet is Akmaam and I've been adding at 66s each time another firm pushes him out. I still don't know why no one is offering extra places in this race? He's drawn high, acts on soft and even though he's rated 100, I think he could be better than that. He wasn't beaten far in a G3 last year on soft by horses now rated much higher and Maximal was behind him who came 4th yesterday in the G1 St James' Palace. His first race this season was also in the Craven where he wasn't priced up as an outsider so I do think the yard think highly of him. 66s is a massive price imo so I'm trying my luck.

I've backed 3 of those myself YH. Air to Air probably my strongest bet at this stage.
I had 2.5pt ew on Trueshan 8/1 (4 places) last night and have been doing a rain dance ever since
He'll have a great chance if we get slow ground, imo.
Looks like its gonna stop raining some point between 11-12 at ascot so youd think there would need to be a monsoon overnight to get the ground from firm to soft on the best draining track in the country

Would certainly bring him into play though
They were talking about an inch of rain but haven't looked at recent forecast. If it doesn't include soft in the description then I doubt they'll even run him
Just read on the racing post that the trainers of Trueshan and Princess Zoe say neither will run tomorrow if enough rain doesn't materialise.
Something to bear in mind if (like me) you've not had a bet on the gold cup yet, could be rule 4's a plenty but hopefully it'll become apparent when the going is given in the morning. Looks like rain might clear earlier than expected according to reports

Ascot missed the rain and going is still GF. Therefore I'm going big and taking a punt on Sir Lamorak being seriously well handicapped. He could easily have been Ballydoyle's Derby horse and was extremely impressive LTO.

Doesn't look as though they are going to get anything other than light shower for the rest of the week according to the local forecast.
Going is slightly firmer than yesterday according to turf trax, BBC weather showing a heavy shower due around 4ish, will that be enough to get the soft ground horses declared for the gold cup????!!
Have taken the exchange price of 6.4/1 on Cadamosto.
Given conditions, will go for an unoriginal double of Mohaafeth and Noon Star as well, plus an each way stake on Nicest given Saxon Warrior's thoughts in his diary.
Just a word of caution on ground, there’s still rain/storms around today and whilst nothing major looks to be hitting Ascot they could get enough to slow ground in places…
Great day for punting. Two of my biggest bets of the week today:
5:00 3pt Air to Air 8/1
5:35 3pt Sir lamorak 9/2, 0.75pt ew Military Mission 25/1(6 places).
I'll be disappointed if ATA and SL both get beat.
Also backed Andreas Vesalius at 20/1 in first, Trueshan in Gold Cup at 8/1 and Lord Rapscallion in last race at 22/1.
