Anyone know why the 30 runner Britannia Stakes handicap on Thursday is only 4 places with all firms? Betfred were offering 6 places earlier but have now changed to 4.

I find these Ascot 2-y-o races difficult - very little form to go on. A horse wins well on soft in its only run but might well prefer faster ground!
For the Queen Mary stakes:
I've picked out Choux, Poppy Petal, Twilight Gleaming, Quick Suzy, Artos, Illustrating and Nymphadora as possibles
Selection: Nymphadora

Not sure I've ever witnessed a gamble before like the one on Kaboo in the Windsor Castle. Backed from 66/1 outsider of all with B365 on Monday to 6/1 2nd fav. All the more interesting as he's an unraced Colt !!! Must be showing immense speed/ability at home. Be interested how it pans out. Hopefully it wins for all concerned. Wowsers !!

Surprised this is his only mount today because he rides Ascot so well.Last edited by nortonscoin200; 16 June 2021, 02:12 PM.

The Queen's Vase has the odd stat that horses with form over 14f+ don't do well - maybe cos races that long so early in the season are lesser races.
Even so my possibles are:
Dancing King, Golden Flame, Kemari, Ruling, Wordsworth
Selection: Ruling
The form of the 3rd to Fernando Vichi in the Nijinsky Stakes is working out well
