He will keep him against 3yo while he can.

Not sure if he could come in for the top Group 1’s in the summer/autumn (Sussex Stakes at Goodwood, International at York), a lot will depend on his first step out of Maiden company.

He certainly looks like a Group horse.

If he is thinking about being stepped up to the Hampton Court, it looks like 10F is the plan.

Pretty much although I think the bookies went a bit OTT with lady bowthorpes price for Duke of Cambridge - into 9/4 fav. Would be happy to take her on, palace pier had run his race with the burst of pace taking everything else out of the equation, she ran on well but not sure it merited that price cut

I thought The Entertainer looked phenomenal today. Has to be a contender for the Norfolk Stakes after that, possibly even the Coventry. By Caravaggio out of a dam who ran consistently over 1m 2f.

The trainer says - very fast horse, we’ve always thought a lot of him. With regards to where we go from here: I’ll need to speak to to the lads but right now all options are open. .

Just in case anyone takes that last be a bit too literally I made it up based on what the trainer would have probably have said.

Taking a late look at the 4.40 Naas and I've backed Lipizzaner at 40s for the Commonwealth Cup with cash out. O'Brien looks to use this race for his best sprinter as a prep for Royal Ascot so I'm going to take a punt.

Don't know if he'll turn up at Ascot but just saw this quote regarding Logo Hunter,

Michael Browne, trainer of Logo Hunter He's in very good form and we're hoping the ground stays good. How he will be against the older horses I don't know, but I hope he can run well. We think he's a very good horse and we're raging that the Commonwealth Cup is now closed to geldings as that would have been the race for him. I think he's good enough for a Group 1 and, if he is, he will run well here.

That was published before he went and won by 4 1/4 lengths in the 3:40 at Naas today, didn't bet it as I only saw the quote just now!

A Case Of You who scrambled home in the G3 3yo sprint over 6f on very soft going at Naas today has been confirmed for the Commonwealth. In March he beat Logo Hunter by 3 3/4l giving 5lb on the all weather at Dundalk with Mooneista (7lb worse off today) a further 1l back in 3rd. Mooneista was beaten by only a nk. today so I am hoping A Case For You will improve for better ground at Ascot. He is available at 33/1 with B365, having been cut into 14/1 16/1 by Skybet and Hills

Cant see these irish sprinters being good enough to compete personally, that a case of you/lipizzaner/mooneista/logo hunter form line looks a good few lbs below group 1 standard

there are loads of interesting horses in the commonwealth Cup market be interesting to see what actually turns up to take Campanelle on

He's won on soft 3 times now, would you be confident he'll improve on better going?

Afraid not, only hopeful, but glad to see B365 now in to 16/1

I Have had a bet on Suesa (20/1 Paddy Power, Betfair, Sky Bet) for the commonwealth cup today before her run at Chantilly in the group 3 Prix Texanita over 6F.

She was very impressive on seasonal reappearance at Chantilly on the 20th April, pulling away to win by 3 and a half lengths in her 3rd career start in a 5 and a half furlong race. She was never stronger than at the line in her first race on a sound surface and it was nothing more than a hands and heels steering job for Peslier.

This form was then franked by the 4 and three quarter length 3rd Ideal beauty, who won the Group 3 5F sprint at Longchamp yesterday.

The Racing Post gave Suesa a rating of 113 for this run at Chantilly, if you add in the 3lb filly allowance then she has run to a figure of 116 according to the racing post in only her 3rd ever career start. To put that into context in the market, Campanelle's best ever rating is 114 at Deauville last year, Supremacy's is 118 in the Middle Park, Dragon Symbol achieved 111 last time out and Alcohol Free ran 113 in the Cheveley Park, Measure of magic 106, lucky vega 116. So at this point in her career Suesa is coming out very close to the top of the ratings with allowances factored in.

I am hoping for her to come out and win easily in her first start over 6f today and for connections to say they are looking to take up her entry in the commonwealth cup.

                              EDIT:

Another hand and heels job in a group 3 and shortening all round, best priced 10's with paddy and betfair and as short as 6's with hills. Happy with that and hoping for George Strawbridge to send her here next.
