Kingman colt, tenth foal, closely related to the 1m-1m 4f AW winner Alma Linda, weakened after forcing the pace on debut at Southwell (7f)
is likely to have taken plenty on board from that initial experience, can do better.

Fair filly. Remains a maiden after 7 flat runs. Eleventh of 13 in handicap at this C&D (3/1) 49 days ago. Good claims on her second over C&D on penultimate start.

4.20.Lingfield.Music Major.

3-times C&D winner. Latest win in January. Eighth of 10 in handicap (4/1) 21 days ago, not ideally placed (wide throughout). Well drawn today and leading claims.

3.15.Lingfield.Sky Defender.

Produced a career - best when winning over C&D last time beating two of today's rivals but very much having the run of the race. Up 6lb for that he may prove vulnerable off this mark and won't get such an easy time in front here.

2.10.Lingfield. King's Advice.

Made huge strides since joining this yard winning eight times including valuable handicap at up to 1m 6f, course winner 1m 4f on stable debut. Didn't quite see out last year as well as he started the year, ought to return to winning ways.

Genuine individual. Three wins from 15 runs last year. Latest win at Chester in August. 9 1/4 lengths ninth of 12 to Set Piece in Listed race ( 12/1) at Kempton ( 8f) 75 days ago. Shortlist material.

1.50.Carlise.Archi's Affair.... 2nd

Fairly useful and likeable 12f winner on the flat for Michael Dods. Goes hurdling now for new yard and he has potential to make his mark so is well worth a market check.

Dawn Approach colt out of a Danzig mare. Closely related five times winners Cutlass Bay and Boscobel who successful in Listed and Group 2 level. Looks like an interesting recruit.

3.15.Chelmsford.Cottonopolis.... unpl

Continues to improve on each start. Career best effort to finish second of 10 beaten 1 1/2.L on handicap debut a similar trip at Lingfield last month. Looks likely to be playing a leading role.

Bounced back to best and unlucky not to win when second of 5 in handicap at this course ( 5f. 1f) 16 days ago, caught further back than ideal. Worth the chance to gain compensation.

Career best effort to finish second of 10 beaten 1 1/2 L on handicap debut over 1m. 2f at Lingfield before one - paced third over same trip at Chelmsford. Runners from this yard almost always improve when upped in trip so very much feared here

In good form since switching to handicaps earlier this year following up two second place finishes with a 1L victory in C&D handicap in March. Strong claims of following up dispite a 9lb rise in weights.

Lingfield.. Artillery.

Well held 10L sixth making debut in a 1m novice event at Kempton in March. Hails from a top yard and likely capable of much better on this occasion.

JACKSONIAN a son of Frankel for K Abdullah runs 9:00 Newbury tomorrow. I’d expect him to win but not my kind of price. Could see him developing into a Leger type later on in the season so interested to see how he gets on. Form of his debut looks pretty useful.

Lightly raced maiden. Good forth of 11 in nursery at Chelmsford ( 6f) in November, running on. Gelded subsequently, and one of the likelier types for his powerful yard on return.

Winless since landing a Group 2 as a juvenile but posted several respectable efforts last season. Went close on recent reappearance at Newcastle ( 1m) and he's very much on for the shortlist.
