I know I’m not alone in loving a few Placepots and Exacta’s at the Festival, we had a thread for these last year and it seemed popular. I particularly love doing the Exacta in the handicaps, a small stake can result in a very nice pay-out.

I know plenty of FJs will be at the Festival and others like me could be in the boozer with mates or watching at home but if you get a chance put your Tote bets in here and let’s hope one or two get a decent return.

I am going to limit myself to backing all the horses that start with either a K.E.V.I.N, in each race and see if that pays in tricasts/forecasts and see where that leaves me

I will be in the pub all week with family. We always go in together on the place pots so will be having a few. Will try and remember to pop them in here, although my head is normally a little thick each morning.

I bloody love a placepot, my favourite bet! Pretty much the only bets I have on the flat now, can’t beat one on the big handicap days.

My Favourite winning one was at the 2013 festival. Smad Place got up on the line for 3rd in the Stayers to keep it going, then Same Difference won the Kim Muir to seal it!
