Best price taken from Oddschecker: Monday 10th March - These will be published in the thread.

Scoring
1st - 10pts
2nd - 5pts
3rd - 2pts
4th - 1pt

A bonus for a winner only on top of the points will be added to the value of the odds on Oddschecker.
So: 20/1 winner will be 10pts + 20pts

I think I’m being thick but if the points breakdown is 10/5/2/1 for finishing 1-4 in the race, why do you need to get the odds checker price and mention e/w terms?

….i imagine the points given is on top of the odds, so a 25-1 winner gets 35 points whereas a 2-1 winner gets 12 points. There has to be reward for bigger price.

No there doesn't. If the aim of the competition is to find winners (and places), the price is irrelevant.

You have the 'one race, one horse' and potentially a staking competition for profit based results.

The rules are in the gift of mcolebrook and I'm hoping that they're kept as simple as possible.

For those who struggle with copying the grid, I did as well but found that highlighting it in the first post and pressing ctrl-c saves it so that going to your new post you can copy it in with ctrl-v.

….my assumption is based entirely on the his suggestion the ‘Best price will be taken from Oddschecker on 10th March’ , seems an odd inclusion if prices don’t count.
