That and the teahupoo one seem worth taking

Though the way the week is going both will probably belt an obstacle and lose

The two main factors you need to tick off before even considering betting this far out is 1) knowing which race a given horse is targeting and 2) having no significant injury history. It also helps that the horse has course form now and the trainer doesn't mince words when he has a good one.
        I’m with you here Mr S S.

Firsly, the Arkle is just such a key, key race to invest in for any ante post plays for the festival. We know the script now - it’s nearly always a small field, single numbers.

Havimg spoken personally to Mick Fitzgerald on Monday evening, who confirmed what I wanted to know, Lulamba will be Arkle bound next season.

Kopek D B at 10/1 (opening price), Lulamba at 14/1 and William Munny at 16/1 (both current prices) is, in my opinion, just about the best plays you could make 12 months out.

Its the one specific race that produces crackerjack value months in advance.

Opens up at 33s. He's a middle distance horse and can't see him being targeted anywhere else, connections will be desperate to get him back to the festival after skipping it for two years after winning the old Ballymore.

Will keep chipping at this as long as price holds.

Haven't really been in the loop but what led to Impaire Et Passe missing Cheltenham this year? Is he being saved for Aintree?

              • East india dock a more likely stayers hurdle horse

Was a 2 miler on the flat they usually want a trip over hurdles

Managed to snag 20/1 on Lulamba after the Triumph, very happy with that.

I bloody dithered waiting for others to price up. Still, 16/1 is ok.

                    • 33/1 for poniros for the champion hurdle might be the best there will be
by this years winning sire golden horn, that won't be missed by willie.

The most likely path forward for the rest of this season will be finishing his season at Punchestown.
it's very likely Paul townend will ride him and win.

He'll not in this case be any bigger throughout the summer.

He'll likely be campaigned lightly as a 4yo turning 5 but i think it will be a champion hurdle campaign, why not?

I dont think the 33s will last

He will probably run at Royal ascot in that ascot stakes race

Think hes almost definitely going to want 2m4f+ over hurdles

I think the instructions today would've been to get experience.
However if in the highly unlikely scenario you're going very well and you can travel through the field as you like with him and go and win then go and win it.
                          And thats what he did.

I reckon this could be Willie's number 1 hurdler next season.

Surely won't go chasing with his jumping

I think he's got too much speed for a stayers.

Dual purpose comments put me off him abit, can't be sure on his target. One to monitor.
