Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • Didn't see it mentioned but Skelton has said The New Lion goes for the Champion Hurdle, 7/1 best price at the moment.

Also not likely to run again this season.

Nice price but wasn’t he Turners bound and talked about as going out in trip, would lean more towards the BANC - assuming he makes a full recovery. Not sure we ever heard what happened to him, just remember Frank Berry describing it as a set back. Guess it’s ok if you have cash out and want him onside.

          • I know everyone will, but make sure you look around the markets/different bookies there are some crazy differences.

Ksar Fatal 12/1 with one, 40/1 with another
Big Westerner I've seen from 10/1 to 25/1

Reckon his had it priced up for his blog and haggled his price on the basis they'd cut it almost instantly. No other bookie has it priced.

Completely agree. It wasn’t there when I looked this morning.

                  • 66/1 about Potters Charm for the Stayers Hurdle looks fair enough. The competition in the UK is poor at best and he’d have a real chance of being the best of them. He wasn’t disgraced in the Ballymore and was probably just a little overraced this year.

Sam Twiston Davies said it’d be the big staying hurdle
races or novice chasing for him next year. Not much of a risk at the price though and I presume it’d be easy enough to cash out on declaration in a novice chase.

                    • Wodhooh at 33/1 for the Stayers is now in the book, she'll obviously have the mares option too but it looks like most MP winners go up in trip eventually, dual winner now on the new course & I think the step up from 2m4f to 3m would suit her down to the ground, not many mare winners over the years but the 7lbs isn't to be sniffed at, just thought she might be one that Gordon might consider sending here next season.

                      • 14/1 Sixandahalf seems decent value to me in the mares hurdle. Keith got a telling off for sending her on too early last Thursday, she idled in front was the verdict.

She’ll stay 2m4f no problem & the old course will be more up her street.

                        I’ve currently played her &

                        Ksar Fatal Supreme 25/1
                        William Munny Arkle 16/1
                        Majborough Ryanair 10/1
                        IEP Ryanair 33/1
                        TBW BANC 28/1 boosted

You've been mugged off for Impaire Et Passe at 10/1 for the Ryanair, hoping that's a typo

                            Typo indeed HTR,

33/1 he’s a bit to prove after the DRF but plenty of horses just don’t operate around there, happy to forgive the Flogas run, Majborough at 10/1 is probably better value though, he can jump adequately over the minimum trip obviously but a bit more time to set him might be the trick.

The engine is obviously there & I can see FTF & the reigning champ filling JP’s roster in the Gold Cup next year.

Never asked for it to be priced up. Was already on the Sportbook when asked for a handful for next year.
