  • Day 3 Yankee Captain Durham Edition

I've gotta say I'm honoured to be given the chance so thanks Kev.

Some people are saying day 3 is the worst day of the festival which it probably is but looking against the other days it looks like there is gonna be some big prices for us to have a look at.

Handicap weights are important today so will have a look and pop some early fancies up.

Please shout up some fancies for me to consider.

I like Crebily for the plate also so he will certainly be under consideration.

I'm working my way through the pertemps and Franciscan Rock is catching my eye no UK tax, but so is Karl des Tourelles but him being only 5 is putting me off.

Quevega may have some thoughts on Karl as he selected him for the One Horse One Race competition ages ago at 50/1

…I’d go against Crebilly for the Plate and suggest Ginny’s Destiny. Nicholls states he’ll be running in the race and says the owners will be in attendance that day. He sits nicely in most trends and available at 16-1.

I like Crebilly (mostly influenced by Istabraq ), Ginny's Destiny and Gemirande for the Plate.

I thought this year he would improve for his second season chasing and race in grade 1’s like Grey Dawning, as there wasnt much between them last year - I backed him for the King George and Ryanair but his runs have been poor this year

Nichols says now that he may not have recovered from having a couple of hard races last year, but now the owners will be in attendance for the Plate at Cheltenham…….mmm

Kim Muir - I’m all over Sa Majeste here. Think he comes here with Jonnywho going Ultima for JP. Hopefully Derek onboard he goes off short fav imo.

Dangers would be Transmission (potentially Patrick onboard) and Yeah Man for Cromwell.
