Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

Yeah she could be. I'm not strongly against her, just feel like plenty of bumper form gets over egged when the hurdles form doesn't back it up

If I wasn't as strong on the front of the market, maybe I'd be less biased

At 33's/25's DL was a decent EW shout but agree her price does stink now based on her hurdles form.

Yeah I'd back her today at 25/1 for sure each way

I'm not mad keen on the Nicholls pair to be honest, so brings the form down.... and just don't associate him with decent mares ...so strong on Sixandahalf to be honest that I'm probably not looking at it properly tonight

I'm a Maughreen lover so we are at odds. Just think she'll do a Kopek and improve enormously from her first run and blow them all away. Reckon she'll be smashed in on the day as well.

What makes you think she improves a lot and others don’t?

She looked a big girl and very raw. Can't imagine she was anywhere near fully wound up but she still won easily. There looked like loads more to come. Unlike others, it was Only her second ever run on a racecourse as well so heaps of improvement likely. They've not rushed her at all which says to me they think an awful lot of her. I like the fact that they've not been shouting about her and she's been very steady/solid in the market from day 1. I'm expecting an explosive performance.

Ok, well she’s entitled to improve but being novices they all are.
At what rate each will do is guesswork.
Possible that one or two don’t need to.
Open race and one that could have a fair priced winner imo

Yep, she's entitled to more than anything else in the race imo as she's only had the two runs. She looks a brute of a Mare as well so could bully the rest of them out of it. She jumped very well on debut but with improvement could jump even better which is a scary thought. I don't agree that it's an open race though. The top two are clear on what we've seen imo.

Ok, guess we differ a bit on the race.
Not long now to find out!!

What's your main fancy and why ? Plus, who else do you think can possibly topple the front two ?

Maughreen has only raced once, so that seems a bit of a leap. If she’d raced three times and won, I think that would be a fair comment but to say that after one race is a leap of faith.

Possibly. I'm just going by what my eyes told me. Loved every bit about her maiden win. Everything you could want from debut imo. Ooozed class and open to endless improvement. Can't wait to see her again.

I like six half, very impressed with how she traveled and jumped and think she’s ahead of your girl, although of course that could change in March.
Like the form of Jubilee and also her stable mate is interesting at a nice price . And Karoline I liked the look of last time.
But it’s difficult with these imo, some more experienced than others, varying degrees of improvement ,and I’m very much keeping an open mind, looking at prices and the form that we have.

Form boost for Karoline Banbou at Navan

                              Form hit for Maughreen.

Speculatrix was probably getting up to win there before tipping up at the last, which doesn’t enhance either form lines a whole lot.
