He probably remains rare great value in the market, has been known to throw in a stinker so I wouldn't let the Paddy Power run put me off, I'd be more concerned how he was brushed aside by Djelo in the Peterborough though that one might well also be a contender.
25/1 is OK I think...

Can't begrudge a 100/1 poke, but would be very unlike Paul to say he would go low key with a horse that blew out, to then throw him into the Supreme
When was his last Supreme runner? I've no idea, could have been recent.
For a horse he rates so highly, I could see him taking it small until Aintree at the very earliest, where he would likely meet much lesser opposition.

Silent Revolution
Grand Sancy
They are 3 from the past 7 or 8 years, nothing of great note, but then does he usually have a horse that looks potentially so well suited to a Supreme? Probably not.
He's probably looked at the 2m UK division and thought, actually we are probably one of, if not the best of it, then watched the Irish lot so far and can't imagine he'd have been scared off by it! Which is what I said in my write up about him last week.
If he goes and dots up in a graded race over 2m next time out you can be sure Nicholls will be thinking to have a crack with him.

Under pressure I reckon Mr Nichols.
Some money been put his way and not really paying it back just yet.
Most of the pressure will be himself on himself I suppose.
Probably needs graded winners at Cheltenham, but at this stage it looks like he's even struggling for runners.
Caldwell and Regents probably need to win and win well next time out.
Regents Stroll still looks stupid to me. Like a big thick ass.

He's like a dopey dog! But a talented one! If he puts it all together he could become a real contender. Big IF, of course but it's certainly possible, based on his striking debut over 2m.
The form is working out OK from that debut win too. The 2nd finishing 3rd in the Formby, only beaten 7 lengths, the 3rd placed in a pretty average maiden and the 4th won its
maiden next time out. None of them are going to be superstars but the manner of his victory and distance between himself and them despite a potential race ending blunder 2 out, make him of interest for me. He was also solid enough in the Challow, despite being ridiculously keen! Personally don't think he should be ending within 15 lengths of the winner given how he raced, but was only beat 7 odd lengths, albeit unextended.
Al Ferof 2.0? Who knows!

Last years winners, e/w Lucky 15:
State Man - Champ Hurdle 10/1
Captain Guinness - Champ Chase 50/1
Protektorat - Ryanair Chase - 25/1
Limerick Lace - Mares Chase - 12/1
189617/1 acca with Skybet
If you want to be greedy, top it up with Langer Dan for the Stayers who has won at the last 2 Festivals. That pays 3675671/1 with Bet365!

Like the look of those 4. Adding LD just doesn't work though. He's not a returning champion.
