    pretty sure I read on a thread that there had been another hold up but if you have more up to date info I will bow to that. It’s a year since she last ran though!

      According to Lobos (in Nov Hurdle thread) she (ie Maughreen ) is disappointing Willie in her work.

          That was an update back in November . Not heard anything since. There was no mention of an injury just that she'd not be out until the New year.

            Sainte Lucie could be one to consider for this also, thought she was impressive.

              After today's performance The Yellow Clay would be a good addition, the problem I have is deciding which race he goes in. Believe before today he was Albert Bartlett bound but Gordon saying mid distance has thrown me. Sounds like Turners now

                He's definitely worth consideration but the uncertainty about the race tempers my enthusiasm, like you i was thinking Albert Bartlett before today.

                    ….Transmission, a confirmed NHC target from his trainer, running over hurdles to protect his mark. 10-1 NRNB or 12-1 with cash-out is one to consider.

                      The Big Westerner going straight to the Albert Bartlett, i know she's popular on here.

                        Diva Luna still a very nice price in the MNH. She was really professional last time and won despite the distance. She's a course winner and will be better over 2. Nothing else has really stepped forward and the fav is still 'no show'.

                          ….at a couple of points bigger, i’ll suggest Sixandahalf for the same race. No concern that we haven’t seen her yet and a definite target given the Cromwell stable tour (comments below). SeanRock put her up last month and after her Punchestown Festival win, Saxon Warrior said it was ‘the most impressive performance of the week’.

                          I like that she’s 16-1 top price which includes NRNB insurance and a couple of firms gave her a two point haircut yesterday. That price could look good after she makes her seasonal debut, indeed I’d go as far as saying she could become favourite;

                          ‘We’ve sent her on a break with a view to starting her over hurdles at Christmas or maybe a little later than that. It’s been unbelievable to watch how she has progressed on the Flat in the last few months considering she was only being broken in this time last year and debuted as recently as March. The level of form she has shown on the Flat makes her an exciting hurdling prospect and you’d have to be dreaming of the Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle with her. The one knock on her is that she isn’t overly big, but she’s all heart and has a big engine, so hopefully that won’t hold her back.‘

                            6.5 should be getting an entry for Fairyhouse on Saturday later today. I’d agree with Eggs that 16/1 NRNB with WH is great value. She’s been schooling well over hurdles by all accounts.

                              …spot on, entered for Fairyhouse on Saturday. If she runs and wins I expect her price will collapse so probably not one for this months bet.
