Has Maughreen got any upcoming entries? I really liked her last season and was looking forward to her running again but nowhere to be seen.

I can see IEF going for it if coming over, not sure on FTF though.

      JP does want winners though.

      Both are possibilities

Fact to file either wins or doesn’t run so it’s a risk/reward thing with him.
I like il est francais myself the French horses have a good record here. I’m not overly keen on Protektorat I think he won a poor renewal and this year could be hot if some of the Mullins big guns run like fact to file/gaelic warrior/el fab etc.

I like protektorat and he's a nice price but you're right this could be a hot renewal, i wouldn't fancy him against any of the ones you mentioned but there's a chance that non of those turn up here.

Came on to say him. We've saw how well the Donnelly's have bought in the last couple of years from France. We haven't seen Fou De Toi out and it could be that they know they've got Lulamba for this division.

            Ultra impressive on debut.

Is he going to go for the Triumph?

Saw someone mention a light campaign for him, which is why I was holding off backing him.

I have no idea but he's already won over hurdles so what have they got to lose?

                    Yeah I spoke with Taylr

Was only brief talking to Hendo, but in summary said he got in late, so will just see how he goes as to what they do with him

I'd have thought 11th Jan at Kempton or 15th at Newbury if he qualifies for the junior hurdles.

Gives him a chance to take in a race in Feb as well if needed.

                        Race was abandoned this year

                        Class 3 Juve

                        18th Jan this year

                          Then maybe the Adonis?

Could be a match up between him and Sauvignon!

Sauvignon must need to come on a lot from the gallop with regents stroll a few weeks back

                              Exactly
Last thing we want is non runners.
At least Protektorat is pretty much certain to be going for Ryanair, and is proven and a nice price.
Main thing for me is getting 4 horses that we are confident of getting a run at prices that appeal now and could possibly end up shorter. He definitely fits that, and there’s others around for sure…. if we can find them!!

One horse I’ve been chipping away at (albeit small stakes) is Busselton at 50/1 for the XC. Ran in both handicap XC chases in November and December finishing 6th and never really being put in either race. If the XC was again off level weights he wouldn’t be on my radar, but hopefully he gets a nice weight in March and we know how good Jonjoe is a targeting certain races. Think he could target a top 4 finish at a tasty each way price
