Back of the net on those two Eggs and with your heroic efforts for FJ throughout the year the least you deserve is to roam free (I'm thinking Bergkamp, Gazza and your very own Alan Ball) and pluck a couple of belters out of thin air. I think the way forward from March is someone a different name every month. Perhaps at the end of the month ask for names to do it and use kevs little game to find a "winner" of picking the winners for the next month.
….ffs, after having a quick read, I’ll put up a Christmas Eve take it or leave it Yankee, 3 of which which seem very popular and one a bit left-field. I will say the two novice hurdlers are worthy of Dutch consideration;

Am more than happy jumping before I’m pushed to be fair. Was going to wait until the end of the season but makes sense for the reigns to go on to Eggs now. I’ve always tried my best but he’s just more reliable these days and I’m glad they’re in safe hands after me doing these for 7 seasons now. Hopefully we get a big winner out of it one day.
Im very proud that the first 5 years of these all paid a profit if backing to a level stake across the 12 months.
Yeah I agree with jrjr , let's cut the crap and let someone more reliable and willing to put the effort in.
To agree to a date and time to allow people with only shop access to place the bet, someone with more reliability should be in place.

I’m in agreement that Eggs is the man for the job but to suggest I’ve never put the effort in is taking the piss abit actually. I don’t think I missed a single month for the first 4 years of running these. The last two years have been less ‘reliable’ I’ll admit but through dealing with stuff far more important than the internet. Of which I’ve spoken about on here in the past. I tend to just stay away from the online world including social media and here.
As for this month, in my head I was always doing it on Christmas Eve. I’d forgot Ista requested it be on the 23rd tbf. As far as i was concerned I was on here tonight to do it.
Goign forward, clearly I’m no longer wanted as part of these which is fine. I did ask Eggs a year or so ago if he’d be dual manager with me and make the decisions alongside of which I believe from memory he said he’d prefer to just stand in as and when I’m away. However, assuming he wants the role on a permanent basis, I would say he’s the man for the job.
Either way, I’ll step down as it is rather than wait til the Sunmer to do the same as I’d planned anyway. Jumped rather than pushed or whatever that saying is.
I do feel abit offended at the suggestion I’m not on all the time through laziness or that I just can’t be arsed. Every selection I have made over the past 7 years has involved a couple of hours of work on these per every individual Yankee when making the choices at the end of the month.
Either way - adios. Have a good Christmas all and it’s been a pleasure.

clearly you have alot going on in your life and maybe the time is just right now, with drf in February there'll probably be a certain date and time everyone will Want that one ready for.
