Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

Redemption Day 20-1 (Turners Nov Hrd).

    From Mullins Stable tour;

‘His form is holding up very well. We didn't go hurdling with him last season, even though he was the age he was, as we felt we would be better off waiting for this season. He has progressed nicely through his bumpers and his form is working out great. He's got a nice turn of foot and hopefully he can continue over hurdles in the smart sort of form he left bumpers in. We've high hopes for him.’

Given the reference, I’d go for him over Kopek for Turners.
would be no reason for Kopek to not go in the 4yo race though no?

…I’m just using the Race Planner to filter suggestions. As far as I can see the race Kopek is in doesn’t make Saxon’s list whereas the one Redemption Day is in does (and links with Turners).

Not saying we shouldn’t include Kopek as he might well buck the trend.

I believe the race Kopek is in has rarely been won by anything exciting with a view to the festival, with the exception of Klassical Dream. Probably why Saxon hasn't honed in on it.

This is what I'm holding on to at least.

But it makes perfect sense for him to run against horses his own age. If he can't beat them then horses a year older or with more experience might be a step too far this year.

Whichever of the Mullins lot run in the race they have to be winning it, IMO.

Pretty similar record though. 4yos have had Klassical Dream and State Man run in it and win at Cheltenham. 5yo has had Sir Gerhard and City Island.

The thing that would could concern me with Murcia is she's already qualified for the boodles.

Paul could be on Willy De Houelle and she is given a quite pipe opening ride, not who would ride her mind.

I'd say if Paul was at Leopardstown, he's long long odds on to be on willy the good ting.

When Murcia smashes Darlos Willie, he too will be qualified for the Boodles.....

Wouldn’t worry about that imo, Kargese had the same amount of runs and even Gala Marceau had 2 runs before debuting over here in the same Grade 2.

WPM 9 times out of 10 will let them have an opportunity to prove they are up to the grade first before thinking about handicaps.

Needs to be after declarations really
otherwise a muggy bet gets muggier.

Shop dwellers can set their alarms for Boxing Day morning.
