I had a dabble on him yesterday for the bartlett in the hills specials section, boosted to 56/1 which i thought was huge, as short as 16/1 with some.

Just to air on the side of caution, he went with the vets yesterday after the race, James saying he never felt him get so tired before, maybe saying it was the hill, but he did seem a little worried. Didnt hear anything more after that so presume all is fine tho.

I’m not worrying about his jumping. I was there yesterday not that matters but I had backed him and was regretting it as he seemingly struggled to come to terms with British hurdles (despite having a practice with them in France). Then he seemed to get the hang of them and started to jump really well. I have played up my winnings on the 56/1 available yesterday on WH (Road to Cheltenham + bonus). Sounds like this is his target and he looks good value at the moment.

Looking at the Mares Chase pages it would seem that there is a negative view of Birdies or Bust which contrasts with the positive view here!
