Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

    I think before Christmas works if the route we’re going involves horses running over Boxing Day-29th period.

    Will have it up on Christmas Eve.

    Need some more suggestions and nominations

      ….i suppose the challenge is finding 4 selections who’s odds will get a haircut after running between Boxing Day and New Year.

      I think Saxon Warrior December Race Planner is fantastic reference material for this. I won’t give the game away here, but it’s worth a read in the Members section

      For example, there’s a race at Limerick on 26th has a particularly strong link to AB.

          ….i’ll nominate Murcia 20-1 TH.

          Popular on this site, she looks to have an entry in the Knight Frank Juvenile on Boxing Day, in Saxon’s Race Planner list (box ticked). Lossiemouth won this in ‘22 and Kargese won last year before coming 2nd in TH. Her last win in France was impressive and Oddschecker Blue for her today. 20-1 might not last but I’d hope 16-1 will be available pre-Christmas.

          if she wins, I’d imagine that gets a significant haircut.

            If he wins the 3m at Xmas, I expect that will be halved and some

                Could get a retirement bet incoming here...

                In a wide open market, Kopek des Bordes has the ability to catapult straight at the top of the market for the Turners, best price 20/1 currently.

                  Have we got Mundi in any yet? I know he's quite short now, but if he wins the Future Champions you'd imagine he could go 4/1 in a Division crying out for a performance.

                      He could also go Supreme, using the same route as Klassical Dream. He's one I think that will rumble on until the day.

                        You'd like to think unless Mundi falters, that Paul would want to be on him in the Supreme?

                            The Mares Novice market looks weak enough after a few underwhelming runs the last few weeks, Sixandahalf at 16/1 will look decent value if she can jump a hurdle given her flat form.

                            She’s entered up in the 4yr old maiden at Leopardstown on the 26th.

                              ….doesn’t look like we have.

                              Mullins has a few entries in that ‘Future Champions’ Novice Hurdle, a race recently won by Facile Vega and Appreciate It before running in the Supreme (box ticked).

                                …..looking at Sax’s Race Planner, it’s the following 2M Maiden Hurdle that makes his thread (box ticked). Mullins won it in with Sir Gerhard in 2021 before winning the Ballymore, City Island did the same for Brassil in 2018. Mullins has just 2 entries, one looking fairly obvious;

                                Redemption Day 20-1 (Turners Nov Hrd).

                                From Mullins Stable tour;

                                ‘His form is holding up very well. We didn't go hurdling with him last season, even though he was the age he was, as we felt we would be better off waiting for this season. He has progressed nicely through his bumpers and his form is working out great. He's got a nice turn of foot and hopefully he can continue over hurdles in the smart sort of form he left bumpers in. We've high hopes for him.’

                                Given the reference, I’d go for him over Kopek for Turners.
