He was pretty impressive then.... unlike Patrick not to push him to the line.... not sure I like that though, means he's 'good' but what will happen when they ask for effort when it matters ... and so unlikely not to need to come off the bridle in 'the big one'
People said the same about Jasmin de Vaux last year.

      • After Gameofinches brought up treble @punchestownrace for @WillieMullinsNH he said: "His homework has been nice, he showed on track what he had been showing me at home. I was very happy with outcome & I’d imagine if he recovers nicely from that race he’ll go to Cheltenham Bumper."

        • I might just get out the bumper unscathed if that thing follows up at the festival

          Nice performance that.

            Apparently 4/1 was too big....

            • Of course if Mullins runs this one in the bumper, does this mean it's not his best of the year such as Ballyburn and Kopeck?

That's the kind of confirmation bias I need to hear

I’d say not. Ballyburn was owners decision. Kopeck was because he was a 4yo and wasn’t ready (was still only 80% fit according to Patrick when he did run). The sales bumper he won had a big winners check too.

                    • ….Gameofinches 9/2 CB in Hill ‘Road to Cheltenham’ specials.

Bit surprised they offered 28-1 TWAF, given how much they cut it when he was due to run at the weekend.

                      • How many different favs has Willie had for the race so far this season??

When Aqua Force is announced as going to him, she'll probably top the list as well. Mental race.

                        • Will just back the top 3 RPRs in small each way multiples once we know decs. Most likely they'll be a price on all of them as there's no standout.

Yep I took the original 33s and at one point I thought they were going to honour the price (and the 66 for Munny) then the dreaded refunds came back and was expecting 22 for Game and was very pleasantly surprised by 28. Munny staying at 50 was disappointing but after a year or two of woefullness (new owners finding their feet perhaps and taking a good look around both internally and externally ) I think Hills are starting to get their act together a little. I suspect they’ve discovered that it’s more profitable in this industry to offer a better product, reduce your margin but increase your volume and revenue.

He definitely wouldnt have been one for the bumper now anyway with the turnaround

Horse could well not even exist the amount of times hes been entered but not dec'd
