    Wow, some praise that !
Montelado brings back some good memories… my biggest winner at the time when he absolutely scooted clear in the Supreme. If the Pipe horse is better than him, he’ll win the bumper, especially in an average year.

I thought it was quite bold for sure. Basically saying how they are not bothered about the others. In 2020 he had Israel Champ and Panic Attack that nearly finished last and they were ante post favourites from memory ??

Shes been declared for a bumper at naas on Saturday.
there is another elliott one in there and Swan has been declared on him.

Apples Jane a daughter of walk in the park out of apples jade.
Apples jade was a winner of the Mares hurdle at the festival, not as many times as the great quevega but last time walk in the park had a kid with a mares hurdle winner, went and won the bumper didn't he.

Apples jade was very good throughout her career but she was a very good 4yo, 2nd in the Triumph, but winning the Aintree and Punchestown equivalents.

Apples jane is 4, Gordon says she's in good form and they're looking forward to it.
        33/1 nrnb @bet365
I've got a feeling this mare could be a good one.

She's a 4yo mare so she's going to have to be EXCEPTIONAL to be on the boat across. NRNB takes a way the risk but it's still not overly generous and is based on her Mum and connections only.

Yep it seems to take a mid 170 calibre horse to win this as a 4yo ….mind you she’d only carry 3 stone 6

One of my unraced stores to follow is also declared, Soldier Saint, for Henderson and ComplyOrDie will be interested in him too. I added him to some Supreme markets way back last year but that proved way off the mark.
            Poor from both.

So if she did line up in the bumper, what price?
as you said she would have to be exceptional.
In a year of mediocre irish bumper horses

Can’t price her up before seeing her run.
At the moment she’s merely a famous daughter so the AP prices are based on that and nothing more.

Her not turning up is favourite versus her turning up.

Surely the price is generous then ? 33-1 NRNB.
It's either money back or a serious player at shorter surely.

I won't back cos I can;t be arsed but it's a bet to nothing surely.
The odds on her running and going off a bigger price are very big.

                    Over used surely then didn't I ?

but I agree with you, she's kind of a bet to nothing.

                      • Not a great deal of inspiration for me this year. I’ve just done kalypso, and creek earlier.
now feel that kalypso is the one and 6/1 nrnb is the way to go.
this race has been really good for me antepost in past few years, but this time I could back another half dozen and still not hit the back of the net

Definitely a bet to nothing with NRNB, that’s obvious without me saying. But a 4yo mare making her debut now, I wouldn’t say it’s overly generous though.

And I highly doubt she’ll be on the boat regardless.

Backing horses based on connections and breeding.
Who would do such a thing ?

The 4yr old mare thing makes it all highly unlikely, I get that.

You don’t like people disagreeing with you, even when objective. That’s a you problem, not a me problem.

There were P2P winners available at that price pre-season and they have a much better record than 4yo mares. So 33/1 is not overly generous at all and only the NRNB concession makes it worthwhile.
