  • Excited to see Walks In June at Fairyhouse tomorrow. My only play so far in this race.

Patrick has obviously talked up Green Splendour and despite the weather making it hard to watch the whole race, I was quite taken with WIJ and thought he was the one to take out of the race. Couple of nice types in the race so could be informative.

Does Henry run many in the bumper?

I've got him as one to keep onside next season in the staying hurdle division. I doubt he'll go unnoticed, given his connections, though.

No he doesn't. But has he had many prominent bumper horses that he has chosen not to go with? May well have done, and may have missed it, but its not something I have in my mind as a reason to avoid his for this race?

        • Is there any word for Reckless running this afternoon at Gowran Park?

Can't find any mention in any write ups anywhere, but the pedigree looks interesting.

Mentioned him on the last page. No word for him but I doubt they'll send a 4yo to Cheltenham.

Well I take on board what you've said about 4 year olds, but I'm going to take some of the 40s EW for the bumper just incase he wins impressively.

By Doctor Dino and there were 3 Gigginstown horses entered in this at entries by Doctor Dino from memory, including the half to BDA, Mighty Potter etc. Seem to be buying more horses that you'd expect to have a fair bit of speed from than they used to buy in the past.

Be interesting how he gets on. The Queally horse is well related (the half sister beat Sortudo at Xmas and 2nd to Amen Kate first time up) as well.
Quellys got 2 nice bumper horses. Massive drift on the Gigginstown horse through the day.
