Yeah that was taking. With Padraig Roche now so it’ll be interesting to see how he’s campaigned. Potentially not one for bumpers.

I'd be suspect of the form. Think it was very heavy that day wasn't it? Hard to gauge it - bit like Teeshan and Quantum Boys PTP wins.

Take it JP has bought him?

          Correct.

I actually preferred Kindly Prince who ran in Div 2.

              • Lost in all the excitement from the other races, carrigmoornaspruce won the bumper and gave a nice form boost to amen kate, who beat her 7 lengths on both of their debuts.

                  • Anything is possible in this years bumper. I would usually say 'no' to a mare but it looks very weak. I will have a play on Soldier In Milan if he comes out in the next few weeks but it's a race i will definitely be waiting for on the day this year. It has all the makings of a Briar Hill type renewal. Bill Joyce was hammered in the market on the day last year but i think he got injured in the race. I was on Jasmin thanks to the forum but this year is an open book.

                    • There’s a few recent PTP purchases I’m hoping to see soon. Probably late January which means it’d be one run and on to the festival.

The geldings DRF bumper is looking very very weak this year. Unless the horse has been out yet, it’s probably too late for the DRF.

The only one with a good reputation is Kalypsochance. Everyone else’s bubble seems to have been burst or doesn’t look good enough to worry the scorers.

I actually think the two who pulled well clear at Down Royal on Boxing Day were very good. Kilwaughter and Theflyingking. The latter will take in another maiden though I presume. The former is on my radar as one who might be sold and moved to a bigger yard.

                      • Future Prospect is one i will monitor for another entry. By Order Of St. George so has that flat pedigree that A Dream To Share had. If he rocks up in one of the DRF bumpers (which i assume he will) then i will be watching the betting in that market and might have an AP poke for the Champion Bumper if strong.

A mare so will all but certainly end up in that race at the DRF. The mares race could be very good. Future Prospect, Amen Kate, Blue Velvet, Carrigmornaspruce.

Another mare. Blimey, they are out in force this year. I will probably leave that alone now too had no idea

Order Of St George is a NH sire. Future Prospect has a proper jumps pedigree so completely different type to A Dream To Share.

He identifies as a NH sire but so far has sired nothing of note over obstacles. He will never make a jumps sire no matter how hard they try. I know nothing of the broodmare though and haven't looked it up so she could be a good one but as of now, for me, Order Of St George is a flat horse by Galileo masquerading as a NH sire.
