Agree. His previous trainer saying he was up there with Montelado did it for me. If he's anything near that comparison then he wins easily .

      • Ruby has never tipped a winner in his life. At least not overtly and publicly. So far up Paddy Powers arse it is embarrassing. I ignore anything he tips.

6 winners last year, 5 of them odds on and the other 15/8. His analysis is great but not one you'd want to follow on his tips.

Silly season started now with the preview evenings.

Wonder how many people blind punt this horse off the back of his words. The bookies will make an absolute fortune

                Indeed.

I've wasted too many pts on the bumper this season already, won't be going in on any others until the day now.

I’ve had no choice for the book. You just know he’ll contract and if Patrick does end up riding him, he’ll not be an ew price on the day. I was hoping to see how Ksar Fatal and Gameofinches got on first, but I’ve had to pull the trigger whilst B365 kept the 8/1 antepost up.

                  • I had a blind go at 40s NRNB when I saw he got the Navan assignment, thought it was already goosed when he opened around the 4/1 mark for that, then was plesently surprised, now Ruby has properly goosed it The fact it's fav/jfav now is laughable, it was decent enough but that's it, certainly gave me more of "Well I can cash it out now if I want" feeling than one of being on the winner.. Windbeneathmywings will romp home anyway because I don't like it.

Didn't he tip up Galopin Des Champ at 25-1 for the Martin Pipe?

Yeah there has been a few other handicap ones as I always try to get the question asked who is Willie's best handicapped horse on the PP preview evening as he gave three winners in a row in answer to this with Galopin being one of them.

                        • Tbf if I had had put up as many duff ones as we had for this race I’d be very reluctant to criticise anybody else’s tip. The forum not liking it feels like a tip in itself. I’m going in.

Very true. That's the reason I did Windbeneathmywings in the end as he's been slated on here

I think that's why I backed him then and followed him since
