I think you'll be surprised by Order of St George. The PTP trainers seem to like his progeny. His oldest crop are the 4yos so no wonder he hasn't yet had a really good one. They'll likely be slower maturing horses than the French types winning big races at 3/4.

No idea, haven't seen any comments from the trainer about it, unless someone else has. Same trainer/owner combo ran d art d art in the bumper a couple seasons back though so they aren't against bringing one over for it anyway.
