Willies comments after the race too, how surprised he was because he’d barely worked her at all. No doubt Willie is hiding a couple of weapons for Xmas but I thought it was up there with the best we’ve seen so far and surely plenty of improvement to come
I liked the performance but my nagging doubt is that they may keep her to mares bumpers and bypass Cheltenham.

      Booooooo! Get them over hurdles

      • What do people make of the bumper entries over Christmas for Mullins then?

Leaky Cauldron is 'the one' i hope My mate was telling me Blue Velvet is highly regarded and has backed her at 50s but i have no idea where he got that from. I haven't heard of her

Just had a look JackieMoon33 don't know if you have already found out but Leaky Cauldron has been registered and is owned by Miss M A Masterson who owns Appreciate It

Blue Velvet was given a good word in the OJA. Doubt she's a better mare than Future Prospect.

            As for the bumper,

                    • Could be a decent bumper if Elliott sends one of his decent looking ones. Ma Jacks Hill obviously beaten already but may be better than he showed. Kovanis won his PTP well in the Autumn. Don't know much about Mister Box but he's got a nice pedigree. The Bective filly is a half to The Yellow Clay. Walks In June I don't expect to go but will be interesting over obstacles.

Kovanis was ultra impressive, albeit early in the season when not every handler was ready and firing. I’d expected him to be held back and given a late season bumper, so it’s interesting Gordon is getting him out quickly.

Yes mate. Clocked the entries earlier. He was one from the list that I thought would be up to a bumper so we’ll see if he takes his chance or not.

Willie and Mastersons have won that 2m4f bumper at leopardstown twice with Appreciate it and Carefully Selected. Both horses then finished 2nd at cheltenham.

It’s a race Willie has a good record in (better than the 2m race on 26th) and three of his winners have run second at the festival.
